Rascal - PS1 - Level 1 - Castle Hackalott Past

The first level of Rascal. Set back in time in a trap filled medieval castle. Each time portal in the game gives access to three levels sequentially, a past level, then a present level, then a boss level. The present level usually has something to do with the prior past level. The object of the regular levels are to find six pieces of time clock, which will unlock the exit. There are also colour coded keys that need to be found too.
This one isn't blind as I practiced the level a few times to get a feel for this awkward, tricky platformer.
Amusingly some of the minor enemies in this game have a full backstory in the manual for some reason, like the blacksmith guy "Stokes the Blacksmith" and the laundry woman "Mrs Washboard" both who appear for mere seconds. I guess they really felt the need to flesh out the game world. I'm not going to cover the back stories here but the manual is online if you really want to learn more about Rascal lore, which I'm sure you do.
