The depressing thing about this song is that this "Golden Age Will Return Again" will never truly Return. The once-prosperous nation known as Iberia and is the only nation in the Lore and Story to have explored and traveled into the sea's, is now in total ruin after the calamity known as the great silence where the Seaborn invaded the land along with making you not hear anything.

@@TheyCallMeDio Well, she's not a real Abyssal Hunter like the others who came from Ægir (All Abyssal Hunters have red eyes and white hair due to their modified genes). She's a bootleg version of the Abyssal Hunters made by the Iberian's government

I did not expect you to react to any Arknights song and I hope you'll react to more. The song is called Stultifer Cantus (Song of Fools) since the people of Iberia (The (S)pain of Arknights) are very certain that they will be able to rebuild and return to their golden era after a disaster that drastically altered their shores and destroyed all but one lighthouse and communications outpost struck them. However, it would never happen due to the various factors from internal conflicts to a looming threat that evolves at a rapid pace in the sea. This happened while their grand fleet was out sailing the oceans and then they were lost and unable to return home. They blamed the people who helped them create this era for causing the disaster, which is another factor to them never returning the golden age since they came from the sea and assumed they had something to do with it.
Feels bad man, feels really bad... The Aegir didn't even deserve such treatment.
Especially for the Aegirian girl who runs a shop and our boi breogan.
Stultifer Navis is also a reference to a thought experiment by the ancient greeks. The idea is that a ship full of fools where no one knows how to sail wouldn´t be improved if a competent person/captain showed up since the foolish crew wouldn´t now that the applicant was good and also fight amongst themselves for the captains position.

In part is cause google algoritm, in part is cause this is the apex of arknights Popularity, we have one of the best event, in game(with a really hype and unique song), with a lot of lore, next the anime after 2 years of waiting is finally airing while Cina server got one of the most known character as a limited alter, so this is probably the period where arknights popularity is at his peak.
Arknights have a lot of soundtracks with different genre, not just sea shanty. And almost all of it's awesome. I wait your commentary about Arknights soundtrack in the future.

First time I've seen Arknights played on this channel I believe, and man it's such a wild ride if you do more of this ost. It's an insanely wide range of genres xD.
And it's actually a Country in the world of Arknights that used to be a glorious place before it was torn apart by an event known as the Profound Silence, which is a mysterious threat born from the Ocean.

The thing about this track is that the story itself makes it abundantly clear that this fabled "Golden Age" will NOT return again. There are three factions that matter in terms of this song: The once-prosperious nation of Iberia, the Abyssal Hunters, and the threat of the Seaborn. For Iberia, their Golden Age was one of expansionism and was built on the backs of immigrants who brought them the tech that allowed them to prosper so. But when it all came crashing to a halt, they blamed the very people who brought them that prosperity in the first place. For the Abyssal Hunters, it's about their desire to return to their home of Aegir, and their pride in their homeland. However, Aegir was likewise built on expansionism, and it was this expansionism that brought them into conflict with the Seaborn. The Seaborn are a mirror the the expansionism of humanity: a force of nature that seeks to ever expand, propagate, evolve and assimilate, not out of malice but simply out of survival instinct. The Aegirs aggressive attacks were a pre-emptive effort to stop the Seaborn's expansion worked in the short-term, but it led to nearly every Abyssal Hunter being wiped out, the few remaining being stranded on land, and very likely made things worse in the long term. With the current state of Aegir unknown, this song is an admission from both the Hunters and Iberians that their respective Golden Ages were built on greed, selfishness and hubris that eventually came tumbling down and will never truly return, but at the same time the hope they find in the memories of those bygone days is no less meaningful and true because of it.

Spain and Portugal, actually. Back when they were united into the Iberian Peninsula. Basically AK made the alternate timeline where the Iberians went to the seas but never got divided because of [spoilers]

Why Arknights is Like Warhammer?.in this world anyone knows about Catastophies and Oripathy ,many know about Seaborn too.but only small group know about another threat.on north and south living Eldritch abominations called demons. They eats fear and mass panic will make them even more Op.(4nations throw their Elite soldiers against them . Litteraly supersoldiers and one Man armies.Yan sends Sui.simply a gods.but this forces cannot end this threat) also doctor is human.(see 2nd EP of anime .when Mepfisto says than Doctor is differen than them.and is wery curious) there is theory than Humanity created all this hybrids as soldiers .they win .Demons and Seaborn are contained.but most humans died.see Discover Terra 3.on far north there is unknown nation.humanity and their loyalists?
