I mean susumu hirasawa doesnt play just music, he plays the universe itself. I feel like the guy came in contact with some celestial being, cause i dont know how can every song be unique and every single track feels like a song from a distant planet. I cant even put in to words what i feel when i hear susumu , its just feeling. Sometimes i close my eyes and listen while meditating and images of all sorts comes to my mind, like nature and animals.
Susumu Hirasawa is truly a fan of the series. I genuinely believe EARTH above all else is the epilogue to berserk. Whatever happens, after all the strife, after everyone's turned to dust, the earth heals itself.
In my opinion, Susumu Hirasawa deserves more attention. I've been listening to him for quite some time now, and not just his anime soundtracks like Berserk or Paprika (his work is good in other Satoshi Kon movies too, by the way), but also his studio albums. Therefore, I advise everyone who loves good music to get acquainted with his discography. And yes, I can't say enough about his magnum opus (in my opinion) - a song called Island Door (Paranesian Circle), I can't wait for you to listen to this song, Atlas, I'm sure you will like it :)
Susumu Hirasawa’s Berserk is one of my favorite albums of all time. Every track is God Tier and I would encourage a reaction to the rest of the tracks on the album that haven’t been broken down yet. It makes my month every time you make a breakdown of one and they need more ears on them because his music isn’t nearly mainstream enough
It's odd how a song, from a vague anime to many, could capture an odd beauty, ancient and nostalgic yet magic and new. It's like nature, singing the song of man.
Not gonna lie i find myself listening more to Earth then Guts's theme, gives me the vibes of freedom and new start a great morning with a very bright sun i remember when i just started berserk i liked to hear this ost after a long battle or after end of an arc, i even found myself listening to this at my free time/in work/school and even setting it as my alarm song at the morning
You've GOT to look take a look at "Murder" from this soundtrack. It uses a boiling sound to amazing effect. The entire track eventually builds up to a beautiful - but terrifying - trance.
Oh my god, this is so nostalgic, I used to listen Berserk osts while reading the manga and this was one of my favorites, I'm about to cry, it just hit me once again.
If they ever make a complete definitive Berserk anime, I desperately want Hirasawa to come back and do the entire thing His song Aurora would be perfect for the Epilogue
@@katra777 yeah, in the 2016 anime Hirasawa made some incredibly good tracks, but the animation was just garbage(not his fault and could have been easily changed)
This theme is the perfect mix of emotional and inspirational sounds, and those two words truly let themselves be felt to the point they can make u tear with joy

The feeling when you see your friend realizing his dream and you know: you have worked for it together to achieve it. As well as realization that you have found a place and people where you belong. That's what that song is.
Since I've read manga and know what a Berserker is, I always cry when I hear this song...Don't consider me a slob, I also catch vibes in this track of the Era and Orbital- Halcyon On and On

When you military march to a pipe band in a kilt in the cold and rain, the bag pipes warm you up just by themselves. It's a weird feeling to describe. They cut into you
@@AtlasBenighted aye! I did it back in university. You'd be out in the winter, pouring rain. The damp would soak through the suit jacket eventually, but you'd be warm initially. Because you had to wait so long, with a rifle held on the right arm slowly building up lactic acid, you'd get cold again. Then they would instruct you to march. The pipers and drums would play in tune to the march. It was exhilarating. All the discomfort would disappear and the bag pipes would cut into your body. It's something you have be there live to feel. The pipes are so loud. Men marched to war and died to those pipes in ww1. I think that's what resonates do perfectly with Earth. They are all warriors in berserk, but the pipes are so dynamic and almost light in a way that you don't feel the fear. Just the exhilaration.

And suddenly the sun starts to show itself and birds chirping started again. And then I saw a big mountain covered in trees and clouds . And my childhood nostalgia and even some nostalgia thats very hard to explain and many nostalgia for something never actually happened with me. ❤❤
Earth is far more emotional because it plays during the most pivotal and triumphant moments during the golden age arc. The beginning makes my heart swirl with a bittersweet feeling
Atlas I think you would really love the piece Ezios Family from Assassins Creed II. Its such an iconic theme that gives me chills every time I listen to it.
After the immediate initial impression of wind, fauna and water, it made my mind go to snow and ice, but I immediately realized it's because it has the effect of making a person think of home, and not because it embodies those elements. I imagine to an Arab it'd invoke thoughts of the desert, or for a Mediterranean, wheat fields by the sea, etc.
If this made by today's. There's only one smiling greedy musician, it's Hanz Zimmer. He'll take credit for this soundtrack if Beserks made into film Hollywood. 🎶🎶🎶😈👍🏻✨️
If you want more Berserk music that has feels that isn't from the anime that people are recommending, I'd suggest Sister's Story from the Dreamcast game - it's just overflowing with emotion in a way you have to hear to understand.

A few months ago watched Paprika the first time. Can't stop listening the soundtrack since then.
His studio albums are incredible. He makes me feel like I’ve been transported to a psychedelic dream in another universe.
