A little more gold to start with, then we're heading off to town again to get a bit of a loan, buy some more things from the store and get a bigger excavator to see if we can't squeeze a little more production out of tier 2.5!

I respect that no swearing thing. Kid-friendliness is a good standard to hold to. Not sure if I myself would be able to do it, as I'm naturally vulgar, but it's nice to see someone who can.
I love the fact that you are willing to ban people from the channel, not a lot of youtubers would do that. Another reason this is the greatest channel out there. Much respect to you sir!
Your comments section policy is quite a lot more responsible than quite a lot of the larger youtubers. Who just let the toxicity flow. And then will disable the comments section. I applaud you good sir for being different.

I understand that, especially since you're a parent, you want to keep your language, and comments section clean so young ones can watch and read the comments. Such a stance, also allows you to entertain your children without having to tell them, "Wait till you're older."
You shouldn't take any flack from that stance. If someone disagrees, than your channel just isn't for them. You're not the only one doing Let's Play's, nor are you the only one doing this game... I'm guessing that it was on a Gold Rush video and not the FS one.
I'm glad you're putting the game link, and previous video link in your description. I wish more CZcamsrs did that.
I'd say that panning would be Tier I, with the wash table Tier II. It isn't a direct upgrade like you do with the Hog pan, which seems to be the characteristic of a late Tier I. But time is money, so with your excavator, you can collect much more gold, so you need to be able to pan it faster. While it becomes the ultimate convenience (dump and forget), which would signify endgame, it is the only upgrade for panning, and with Tier III requiring 300k, it is something you would be getting before you take that step, making it a late Tier II item, at the latest.
For my game, the first thing I did was take out a loan to buy all the hog pan upgrades, so right from the beginning I was able to start with a water pump and 4 miner's moss. Seeing how others play, I'm able to learn from their mistakes, or see things I hadn't thought about... though one of those things was fixed in today's patch.
You can try to have a red, and 2 greens come off one pump, with the red feeding another pump, then have 2 more greens come off of that one. Maybe that'll work?

I’m seriously in love with this series and the the on a reddit it says devs have a huge release in next few weeks with the washing stuff and water pumps and more equipment and you should look into a small employee to run one of the excavators to maximize-time and profit

next time when you take stuff out of the truck then try to open the back and then drive the truck forward and see if the stuff will fall out by them self =)

You should really try using a joystick with the excavator. It works really well and the movement is so smooth. I have my Hotas X joystick with the main boom Up/Down mapped to the forward/back on joystick. The small boom In/Out mapped to my throttle Forward/Back, the cab rotate is mapped to my twist grip, and bucket In/Out is on my Hat switch Up/Down. Works like a charm.
Thanks Shaun, you reminded me that I had a ten year old joystick with a top hat and multiple buttons. Heaps better and rotating the cab with the twist grip is just so intuitive to use.

Also get about 10 buckets total it helps to stock pile them before putting dirt on to wave table just like u did in this episode
Stagger the wash plants with the dumping zones next to each other u will be able to fill them both at the same time. Will work also with wheel loader with the bigger zone to dump once machine gets patched

If you use the wash basin as a water source you don't need 73 and a half Pumps to get to your digging site

You should probably get more Jerry cans and hoses, and keep a few full Jerry's in the back of your truck, and one of each hose/cord as a just in case. Just a thought!

You dont need 3 water pumps inn series like that, go to the warehouse and buy theese extention couplings. altso you can buy the power splitter, one thick cable inn 4 small out. There is altso a water splitter, same as before one thick hose inn and 4 thin hose out.
These are much older videos before those couplings were added to the game, it certainly makes it a lot easier now!
where your 2nd water pump is, you could actually put your 1st one there using 1 less water pump.

I think it may be a feature added later. There's a whole bunch of spare parts, but with it as it is now, none of them are utilized.

Swearing is not something that you should care about, I understand you wanting to keep it clean but lets face it it is normal it happens, kids will hear it. And I think that people being overly against it is just a waste of time.

Hey buddy. You’ve got your wash plants set up back to front. The waste piles will hit the other washplant that way so maybe switch them around?
U should always be tapping up till half way then down once the dipper is 90% straight up and down physics for excavator is perfect, 10 years plus on one there perfect in game very realistic
I've found running the bigger one a lot easier than the smaller one, the main arm is too sensitive for me. The mini digger I do most of my work on has a restrictor on the main arm which slows it down, just gotten to used to that I guess, that and joysticks allow for much easier control the key pressing!

About the swearing issue, good for you, stick by your guns. Some of us enjoy a comment section free of vile words even though we're adults. There really is no reason for it, the English language contains enough words to adequately express ones thoughts without reverting to swearing.

you only need to dip a moss 1 time most buckets can take 4 moss the gold is based on the mosse not the size of the bucket

I don't think water pressure is actually part of the game, because I've seen another CZcamsr put the pump on the other side of the hill from the stream, and just have one hose running from it.
Not sure if you can keep splitting off from each pump, but, with water pressure not really being added yet, I don't see why not.

You were saying on your last video that you remapped the keys for the excavator but thought they were to close together. Just wanted to say that I am using the WASD keys and the numpad and the spacing is much better.
I bought this game yesterday, after watching this series. Damn it's great to search gold nuggets, both in a little space and with excavetor, after watching yours gameplay.

Why don't you set up a tier 1 setup and hire workers to pan gold while you concentrate on Building your mine? Makes money even while your out getting prepped

They work 9 hours a day usually
Between 120-140 per day
Work rate isn't the best but it's definitely worth it!!!
