Preperation is key for doing class 2 multidrop work. Google map / Street view your run before you even leave the yard so you know exactly where each drop is. Spending 15 minutes planning your run before you set off saves you loads of time down the road and the stress of getting lost trying to find places. The tomtom HGV satnav is worth every penny too, its the best HGV satnav by a mile.
Very true. I should actually do that. That's quite a good tip you know, thank you. I will get a TomTom satnav. I'll buy myself a present for this Christmas lol
When u multi drop class 2 do u put taco on tools every drop? I did my 1st day on taco 12.5hr shift 19 drops but forgot to change taco each time I stopped... drive time showed 4.5hr in the end so legally no break is that right?? TIA

I can see you're a hard worker and courteous, but you should keep the doors of the truck closed when you have the pallet placed on the tail lift when doing a delivery. A person nicked around £2,000 of tobacco from me in the past before I had the chance to chase him he was away in his car with the goods. Good customer service skills helping the old lady.
Thanks a lot mate for your kind words. I really apreciate that you did enjoy watching this episode and yes that's totally a good tip offered to me and my future security to lock everything including the back doors or shuter. Yes totally agree with that mate. Thank you and I am feeling sorry for what happened with you that time.
well done mate,i would have given you a hand if i could.i did a few class2 jobs and enjoyed it but not so many drops. im back at sea now and life as a seaman is okay for me now at 60 years old.a bin wagon would do me fine though lol.
one day i hopefully move back to wales, my mum lives in north wales. every trip i make 3-5 times a year i always take the long way. fast way m6, m54, a5 but only do that on Christmas day as roads are very quite, the way i take normally is head south then west and cut right through Hereford, and head towards a44, then what ever mountain route i decide. 99% of the time i take the long way, but each time i go a slight different way and can spend hours on single track lanes, some roads are just gravel roads full holes. average 5-12 hours depending on time of year but do love driving through Wales. if you keep doing remote drop off's we might meet on one these single tracks one of these days. those y junctions, i think they are both two way or thats how i do them. as i think a t junction and large transport would not mix. glad to see you not rushing in to those blind corners as so many do :)
Wales yes I love Wales, what a nice country and friendly people. Yes going on country lanes can take less time sometimes unless is a trucker stucked there somewhere lol, well is very understandable as the road gets very narrow is basically a dead end anytime soon. Is so nice to explore the country on different roads isn't it? Yes I don't like to rush I like to do the things slowly and then I can do them everytime :-) Take care mate thanks for the comment.
@@RobertMihalache Yep mate, talking of dead ends. i remember 1 month after passing my test and i was taking a cut through, i thought it was just a narrow cut through the woods but on a paved road, passed a cross road what was like an off road move with wheel leaving ground on one corner, and this was still paved. carried on climbing the very steep hill, the road slowly turned to gravel, then i had to stop cause tree in road but then handbrake would not hold as too steep and slippy so i had to leave in in gear and turn engine off and hope it holds, after that i carried on a little further to a Y junction but it was mud track with over 100ftt drop off where i had to do a 3 point turn. mad thing was i had no off road car/truck, i was in a city car a little diesel fiesta, it handled it much better than expected but as i was really new at the time it was a worrying few minutes as traction was very low and huge hols and a big drop off and steep up hill Y junction. managed to get out tho damage free. have been in more forest tracks after that but not to that much off road with slippy mud with dangers all around, reverse too much on an angle id roll the car. one thing i learnt fast, if in doubt then take a short walk so you know its good or at least can safely turn around. wales is fun for all types of driving. Dec i did 1000 miles and that was only two trips through wales, so much to explore :)

My own truck has a wireless remote control that raises, lowers and tilts the tailgate to different positions and does not need to be lifted separately from under the car each time, but is immediately ready for use. Those tail lifters you use look like Stone Age when compared to what we use here in Finland.

How the hell did you manage to stay calm on the country lanes? I'd have lost my temper and just I've taken the loaded lorry back to the yard say "this job is not for me". :D well done bruv!
hahaha I completely understand that. Sometimes I am loosing myself but in the end of the day all they want is the job to be done. They don’t care how they just the job to be done and all we are for employers is just plain numbers without exponentials
That second drop took the piss. I'm currently on supermarket vans, so know it's difficult to balance good customer service and piss takers. At most it should have just been leaving the stuff to the left inside the shop with the cat litter. Very selfish of her to expect you to bring all the stuff in by hand - not your job in my opinion. You're a good man for doing that extra work, but I'd have told her straight; "I'm on double yellows, love. I'm going!" She's not the one paying the fine. I've just started a government funded scheme to get a Class 2 license. It's completely free, but I have to attend three weeks of college and do a course in environmental awareness! Hopefully I'll be out there with you soon.
as i'm new i will wan't something that takes me around 7.5 ton restricted streets and low/weak bridges. idk man thats why ask you what you would sugest.
The customer at 1:01:32 seems so demanding asking you to leave the pallet on the tail bar. Don’t customers know you’ve got other deliveries to do. In fact you’re really helpful unloading it for her. It will probably save you time to unload it for her. By the way, I’m new to your channel and loving your content. You seem really positive and wish you well.
Man when she said just park our front on the double yellows but don't put the pallet on the path.. and then expects him to unload the pallet 🤣 id be like noppppeeeeeeee
Salut eu am folosit un singur GPS in 5 ani de soferie + google maps uneori si asa m-am descurcat. Nu as putea recomanda altceva pentru ca nu am folosit. Depinde in ce tara esti. In Anglia majoritatea folosesc TomTom si Garmin. Daca te descurci cu orice atunci e si mai bine. Salut!
Why are you unloading the pallets? It's not your job, and if you get injured due to doing that insurance won't cover and you'll be on SSP for a few weeks or months. Stop doing it!
The 2nd drop .... Kerbside.... get a helper in for the mornings its Kerbside delivery...Move on... taking the mick out of you. No chance I would off been doing that. Unless you're being paid to do that.

You where in wrexham wtf been watching for ages didnt expect you to turn up here
Yeah 😂
quick question, once you complete all deliveries do you finish your day ealier? with full pay or deducted?
get paid for the day
You are right ,you can,t take the money with you. But it is better to cry in the back of a rolls royce than crying in a skoda. you are a great philosopher hahahaha But you are a good bloke.
hahahahaha take care mate
Yeah you're right😎👍
🍻
Put it in the back driver, sall i put the price tacks on it too for you ,Men what a shitty job if you have to do this at all the shops than you need to spend two days. Yopu are a realy good person.
thanks mate
i am surprised you do not get a lot of parking tickets
:)
Hello mate i can recommend you app delm8 it cost couple pounds mothly its very usefull and you will know exacly where any farm is
I will check it out. Thanks for your help mate. Cheers
Welcome to the North Wales Police, speeding tickets everywhere 🤣
Madness isn't it? I have seen in that day more police cars then I have seen in England in 1 month lol
@@RobertMihalache yes, I live about 10 minutes from where that was. I am learning my class 2 around that area. Never seen that Volvo before either.
Lovely place you’re lucky 😎
What’s the best job for a new class 2 driver with handy hours family wise hopefully will have the full license soon and any tips for the test any advice would be greatly appreciated 👍great vids watching them all
I don't know what it will be the best hgv class 2 job for you mate as it depends from person to person, from expectations you have, if you have got family and kids then look for something with less hours, apply for jobs go to interview and tell them what you want see if you can find what you want. I wish you good luck in your research. Watch all them videos and you will find plenty of tips and life experiences mate. Take care mate
@@RobertMihalache thanks Robert yes I have kids and a family that’s the thing il have to find something with handy hours if I can watched all your videos there great and I watched raul689 he’s also Romanian and he has some great videos also thanks for the information much appreciated pal stay safe🚛👍🇮🇪
Thank you so much and God bless. Hope you’re well?
Hi,have you got a ticket for parking on double yellow line before. hard work. good video.
I think everyone has at some point 😂 thanks a lot
@@RobertMihalache by the way, you play basketball well. One day we can play together.
Yeah sounds good 👍🏻
Hi, mate! Love yours video! what is you weekly payment in avearge then?
Hi mate thanks a lot. It depends on the amount of hours that I get. I get hourly paid £11.21 normal rate and £13.11 for overtime.
@@RobertMihalache That is such little money for a job like this. I'm very surprised.
@@villeporttila5161
You make better money with this job on a night shift. 😎
Good luck 🤞
Good video Robert. I will drive class2 soon what sat nav should i get?
Thank you. It depends what you really want a satnav to do for you.
as i'm new i will wan't something that takes me around 7.5 ton restricted streets and low/weak bridges. idk man thats why ask you what you would sugest.
latest version of tom tom or gamin would do
now we can see the reason there are less hgv drivers and a lot leave great video.
:)
Robert I would suggest you try A Garmin dezl 700 series like 780 or something. It's expensive but makes your live a lot easier.
Thanks lot mate that looks awesome ✅
how much you getting paid a week?? and how many hours you doing? im new to this…
I don't know and I don't share this details
The customer at 1:01:32 seems so demanding asking you to leave the pallet on the tail bar. Don’t customers know you’ve got other deliveries to do. In fact you’re really helpful unloading it for her. It will probably save you time to unload it for her. By the way, I’m new to your channel and loving your content. You seem really positive and wish you well.
Thanks a lot. I love positive energy and happiness. Welcome aboard. I hope that you will do enjoy :) Kind regards
Man when she said just park our front on the double yellows but don't put the pallet on the path.. and then expects him to unload the pallet 🤣 id be like noppppeeeeeeee
When would you upload the new video
I am currently experiencing some issues with my internet connection but hopefully today. Thank you 👍
The video should be ready by 6PM (UK Time)
Some people have no respect for your job or help you out. But I guess that's life
Thanks for seeing that and I hope many people would be willing to change into their best version of themselves🏆
Salut , din experienta ta , ce gps recomanzi? Multumesc
Salut eu am folosit un singur GPS in 5 ani de soferie + google maps uneori si asa m-am descurcat. Nu as putea recomanda altceva pentru ca nu am folosit. Depinde in ce tara esti. In Anglia majoritatea folosesc TomTom si Garmin. Daca te descurci cu orice atunci e si mai bine. Salut!
That lady who said could can you wear a mask, Personally I found the way she said it rude. Couldn’t have explain her reason for asking.
I am trying to make everyone happy 😊
How many hours a day do you work, great video 👍👍
Depends
How long is a normal shift for you mate?
between 8-15 hrs
@@RobertMihalache thanks for the reply, I’m 19 soon to take my cat c practical test I think doing 15 hours in one shift would be a bit intense tho
2:04:05 😂. I feel ur pain.
Thank you! Cheers!
What's your avarage monthly pay ?thsnks
Don’t know
on top of all that youve got a fkn cpc to do
oh yes
Why are you unloading the pallets? It's not your job, and if you get injured due to doing that insurance won't cover and you'll be on SSP for a few weeks or months. Stop doing it!
Easier said than done mate
Like your video but the head camera is making me dizzy 😊
Thanks a lot and apologies for the head cam. I know I look 999+ times on mirrors lol hope you're ok
😊
Kind regards
Tks. For. the. Info. How. To. Apply
Welcome
do not worry about the Welsh language it is a dead one that has been remade up
I don't know
The 2nd drop .... Kerbside.... get a helper in for the mornings its Kerbside delivery...Move on... taking the mick out of you. No chance I would off been doing that. Unless you're being paid to do that.
there are no helpers it’s 1 man job. All the other drivers has got the same amounts. Of course paid to do that. I like that job 👍
you shouldn't let that lady speak to you like that am class 2 driver too and i only delivery on kebb there need to supply the help it's not the driver job to bring it in side.
people take advantage
