I am a huge fan of Alaexander James Adams (previously Heather Alexander) and Loreena McKennitt. Also, Knights of Badassdom was pretty awesome.

I'm surprised you haven't heard of Erutan right here on youtube. She does video game songs but also has an album of renaissance folk music and it's just glorious. Plus she plays all the instruments herself and sings multi-part harmonies with herself. It's amazing.

***** if you mean pokemon there is a free app on iTunes (pokemonTv) where you can watch some of the seasons. Its has a small doze of episodes for each generation but it gets updated weekly i believe. I am sorry if you meant some other show and i just keept rambling about pokemon. I´ll shut up now

Mo Mo, have u ever been to Magiquest? There are a bunch of them all over the US where it's like a medieval video game and you get like a wand and go around this building doing quest and adventures and getting gold an it is the shit! And because there are a bunch of locations all around, your wand saves your progress at different "kingdoms"! It just might be something fun to look into.

I have made at least 100 characters from my online Role Plays I do with other writers, and yet I have never actually created the character physically. I couldnt imagine how fun it is. I wish I could go to the big Larp stuffs.... :(

OOH! I NEED Galavant in my life, and I realized that with the first trailer I saw, on YT actually: It looks Hysterical! Not least because Lassiter is now a medival King. xD OHMAGIDDYAUNT, Heather Dale is AMAAAAZING. A friend introduced me to her music some time ago & I've been in love with her voice & story-telling songs ever since! I actually really like the fact that the majority of her stuff is Arthurian Legend related: like, the first song I ever listened to was "Mordred's Lullaby" and it's GORGEOUS & Haunting & Wonderful! 8D I'm definitely going to check out that other artist too! I love Folk music!

You may enjoy this. While my friends and I were waiting for the official start of our Echoes of Empires vampire LARP, one of the boys accidentally mixed up two very different words. It's important to know that we were talking about sleep deprivation at the time and the room next door was holding a mock UN with college students. At the top of his lungs he screamed "I SUFFER FROM NECROPHILIA!" And we all tried so hard not to laugh... A second later, a guy from the mock UN came into the room, looked around, and then sloooowwwllyyy closed the door. We all died laughing ^_^

Also, I recommend checking out Brigadoon. Not exactly Vikings but it's a musical set in 1700's Scotland and the music is beautiful and it's all great and I recommend it so hard

I agree with nearly every one of your choices. The only thing I've not seen is Robin Hood but I love the rest. Did you see Lagertha doing the sacrifice last week - gosh that got me all powerful and fired up? But I love Heather Dale as well - especially One of Us with its cool feminist message! :D You should totally cover her!

For music, look up the Poxy Boggards. They perform at Renaissance Faires around the US and they're the shit. A good song to start with is "I Wear No Pants." Yes it's a real song, no I'm not lying :)

Folk/Pagan:
Omnia (Amazing and powerfull pagan Band from the Netherlands)
Korpiklaani (Folkmetal from finland but with some softer/folksongs as well)
Fintroll (again Folkmetal from finland but with some softer/folksongs as well)
Medieval/Fantasy:
Blind Guardian (german Powermetalband with english, fantasy themed lyrics)
Haggard (another german Band with mixed lyrics english/latin/german lyrics. style varies from medieval tunes to hard metal)
Alestorm („True Scottish Pirate Metal“ - and as you all know: everything is better with pirates! so go check them out)
