power bounce strats will never not be funny to me, i've always liked the fact that you can just kill literally any paper mario boss by just spamming jump charge multiple times then power bouncing for 20+ damage per hit
Same for both. I got Huff n Puff down to a science with the Tuff Puffs, but defea-ting him still took many tries. As for Crystal(not Ice)King, I started to worry when he started duplicating and healing, because I kept missing the real him and thought it’d be a long fight. And I kinda lost the 1st try, but thankfully I had a Life Shroom when I died there. After it saved me, I healed more with Smooch, but Crystal King still duplicated and healed a lot. I kept worrying until I got to the final hits, and I was surprised to beat him on the 1st try.
I gotta remember this strategy next time (just completed my annual run of the game :D), 3 turns with Huff'n'Puff is awesome. I've basically got the Prologue through Chapter 5 down, Huff'n'Puff was my hardest fight this past run, even Crystal King didn't trouble me this time as I used Kooper's fire shell.
Oh you gotta try Paper Mario Master Quest if you play this game alot. A fantastic advancement from the original. Or if you're not interested in trying to find out every single meta strat, Master Quest Jr. is also available, which tones down the numbers, though they still hurt more than the original.
@@bruhchannel1216 no problem. 1. Time your blocks, and don't mash the block button. Everytime you press the block button, there's a split-second cooldown before you can attempt to block again. So mashing doesn't work. 2. In Toad Town, under the Fortune Tellers (Merlin's) shop, there's a badge shop. Keep checking it every so often; eventually it'll sell the Dodge Master badge, which makes the block window larger, and the action command window larger too. 3. Practice makes perfect 👍
This is the only boss I lost to because I didnt heal before hand because that flower land doesnt have a Toad's inn. I had to leave and come back after. I beat him second time, I didnt even lose to Ice King, I just spammed him with the items I found and he never had a chance to heal.
I tried super charge+watt’s power boost thing+having 6 hp+megarush+powerbounce so when the boss jumps on you taking 5 hp after you supercharge and powerboost then on your turn, you gain +8 attack and can powerbounce for 50 damage if you get a good chain.
My strategy was Super Jump charge twice, Watt’s Power Boost once, 2 Power Pluses, All or Nothing, and Power Bounce with Dodge Master. After two turns of charging, I did 70 damage to Huff N Puff and killed him instantly.
It can be done in 2 turns without being hit if playing a peril mario strat. Take 2 power plus + mega rush + all or nothing. Turn 1 use super jump charge and out of sight with Bow. This will get your attack to 13 and then from there you can power bounce 6 times for the win.
I just used recently tried using S.Jump charge until Mario's attack was at 30 and beat him with a single normal jump 😂 if you don't attack him the little clouds never appear..
hufflepuff is the easiest boss in the game edit: A fellow commenter has corrected me in saying truthfully that, in fact, Koopa Bros are marginally less difficult and I sincerely apologize for my sever blunder that shall hopefully not be repeated by myself again in the near future.

Do you have any tips for blocking. Like I either mash and its a 50/50 wether i block or not or i time it and 50/50 wether its good

Use dodge master
It actually increases the amount of bounces you can do with Power Bounce

I always refer to Huff n Puff as a "Noob Killer" type of boss. I think it still stands despite how easy he is if you DO know what to do.
