      @semu8143 Před 6 lety +2

      Hi Abiola, I failed f5 three times with 49 marks! so you can imagine how I felt!. My advice would be to focus on practice questions, get a BPP revision kit, and compare your approach to the question to theirs, then the MOST important thing is...really drill the DISCUSSION practice, that's where a huge percentage of marks are. Just by adding a few more points and discussing them extensively (i.e Tranfers pricing, potential conflicts between divisions, why some managers may refuse, what should be the main objective of transfer pricing etc and apply all of that to the scenario) I went from 49 to 69 marks.

      @rcaacca  Před 7 lety +8

      Depends how much free time you have and the subject but the point is that reading then re-reading then making notes then reading the notes will not do any good. Read it once, try an illustration then do a past paper question.

    • @okiemutefoyibo416
      @okiemutefoyibo416 Před 7 lety

      @ragnar, it also depends on your overall target as regards when you want to complete all ACCA exams and then, how many papers you will be sitting per diet. In all of this, you are the one to decide eventually because you alone know how much studying you can handle, considering your other commitments in life. Cheers

      @rcaacca  Před 7 lety +6

      When I was taking my exams, I sat 4 every 6 months (back when there was only 2 sittings a year) and scored over 70% in all of them.
      I was working full time but dedicated every spare minute to studying. It depends on what else you have going on e.g. children, work, etc. and how good you are at keeping yourself motivated.
      A lot of my students sit only one each time and many others take 3. Only you will know the answer! :)

      Don't give up Sarah Son. You may need to review how you study for the exams and the techniques you employ (remember, you shouldn't expect to have a different result if you use the same method everytime!). Also, as it was said in the video, have the mindset of "Steps to Freedom". Focus on the benefits of being an ACCA member (let those benefits be the fuel to catapult you to great success). Hang in there, you can make it.
