By using the same example, how I memorise was there are 2threats, 2power and compitator.. for the names in shorts (TONE / TOS/ BOS/ BOC/ COR).. I kept singing as a song 😁 ( I have many songs of ACCA.. like AFM, to adjust the WACC due to changing risk => degear/ Regear/ CAPM/ WACC)
TONE - Threat of New entrant
TOS - Threat of Subistitute products
BOS - Bargaining Power Of Supplier
BOC - Bargaining Power Of Customer
    COR - Competitve Rivalry...
but trust me, just remembering it, doesn't go anywhere but application does...
we must know where and when to apply this model..
So, need to read the past questions and answers of applying it...
when I finished reading 3/4 questions, I realise the question keybwords is that assessing the "industry and market"...
For porter's diamond => assessing why the business is successful in certain market, etc..
All of these skills are build up little by little and it is true that it will take time a bit more at starting point but doesn't take that long as we think.
Cheers and good luck to all ACCA students!

I'm getting into my first ever ACCA exam soon. It's the FIA papers. These tips are helpful! I've watched 3 of your videos and they're really great. Especially the R.P.P (Read, Practice, Past Paper) tip.

Buy the Kaplan exam kit practise as many question as possible ...buy the on demand exams available on acca website for f1 you get 3...not only attempt them but learn from the answers. Buy the Kaplan notes booklet read everyday. When writing notes only write note on what you need to. The key is definitely exam practice. Good luck
