Personally as a life long English speaker I love the accent of Russians when they speak English & I also love Irish accent. 1. Pretty sure Indian cities are not much better in terms of pollution.
2. I can tell you one thing that is Made in China - a much larger middle class than the Indian middle class. Literally China has raised 500 million people out of poverty while India has remained a country which has the largest proportion of poor people in the world (33%).
Why India didn’t adopt manufacturing in the same way China has is beyond me. And their protectionist policies ensure homegrown industry, while India keeps buying foreign goods to survive. A lot of Chinese people have the attitude that democracy doesn’t work because their most similar neighbour in terms of population is lagging behind in economic growth (we started off richer than China in 1950 and now their economy is 6 times bigger). They would prefer to have material possessions and wealth - which their government’s policies have enabled them to gather - than freedom of speech because money can give you true freedom while freedom of speech is doing nothing for the poor villagers of India.
We should not look at China with an attitude of rivalry but seek to learn from their successes.

Actually, every country has problems . I don't know why all people are fighting over silly things here in the comment section, maybe they just wanna prove superiority , anyway , all countries are facing problems currently and those problems will exist unless humans stop relating to just their own country , but relate to all. Then they would be able to work for the betterment of themselves as a whole.
I think India is in the phase all other countries faced between the 70s-90s.

Awesome video and graphics. Commenting from a Chinese phone. I love my MI4. Companies like Xiaomi are truly changing the perception around Chinese designers and manufacturers. India is at least a decade away and can learn a lot from their experiences.

lol actually those aren't total manufacturing plants. The ICs and the SoC inside , the camera module is still made in china.

What software did you use to create this wonderful video?
First of all, your drawing was great. Now back to the topic, Chinese low skilled labours on average actually have 3-4 times higher salaries than low skilled Indian workers, and the semi skilled workers are paid more than 5 times higher than equally semi skilled Indian workers, but there are still more investment coming in to China than to "democratic" India, what a surprise. The biggest reason for everything is made in China is not only because China had cheap labour in the past, but also because of the available labour force, and most importantly, the great infrastructures and the willingness to accommodate the investors from the Chinese government. There are lots of policies from the government to make investment in China easy. And on another topic, India is way more polluted than China, just in case you haven't realized.

Actually, it is a software which draws this.
I think India will progress fast if they start to do work instead of arguing with each other.
The problem is democracy. We need land and other kind of reforms to usher investment and growth. Unfortunately when the govt comes up with any laws or reforms, the opposition mislead the people, cause unrest and riots which leads to the laws being recalled. The communists and like minded parties in India are the main reason why we are still not progressing. I think dictatorship is better.

You just can’t replace made in China,
Here is the main 3 problem.
1. Right now 776 million people working in China, 250-270 millions working on products we use like Smartphones, laptops, other electronics, clothes.... including Apple, Nike, Adidas
2. Hourly wage - Chinese workers getting 17-20$ a day, but western countries earns 27.16$ per hour (statically) that means you should pay 4-6 times more for everything related with electric.
3. Rare elements - Nowdays efficient products require really rare elements. Like europium for smartphones, tv screens, battery and many more.
It will take many years replace made in China...

NO the most important part of a smartphone which are IC , the SoC and the camera module are always made in china. In those indiAN factories they just make some less important part , then put it together to assemble and test it. It is not 100% India made. Maybe in 10 years smartphones will be 100 % india made.

If he cared so much about bringing jobs back to America, how come his suits are made in China and Mexico? plus it's pretty much impossible since none of the major manufacturers, like Nike, Levi's, and American Eagle, are even interested in bringing their production back here because they had to pay their workers more money. What these companies are doing is Criminal, but no one cares.

Yana M It is abibas, practised few years back by chinese to label their copy products with names similar to branded companies , but with 1/3rd or 1/4th price. I think that is stopped by them these days and they have decided to manufacture for branded company themselves

I have been to india, many large cities like Mumbai suffer from more serious air pollution. I would like to stay in the most polluted city of China than stay in the less polluted city of India. I suggest those indians who havent been to China to come here and breath the fresh air here.

long story short: chinese workers can buy about the same amount of bread or milk in china with their chinese salary as i can buy for my salary in europe. this means that you and the chinese worker get the same shit while someone earns truckloads of money on the difference in currency value while selling you substandard merchandize. i talked to chinese people about this and it is true at least in the business i was in (trade), maybe that does not apply factory or warehouse workers.
