    Nice job. Color choice is not my cup of tea though. It did make me think about what to paint mine. The colors of the Ford GT40, Gulf Oil blue and orange.

    I just took my fulton sheller apart for a nice restoration. Luckily, mine wasn't very rusted at all. Went gloss red with flat black. Cool old things. It doesn't have the original crank on mine though, someone replaced it with a "sterling" branded cast iron, probably from another farm tool.

    Very nice job! What kind of paint did you use so it wouldn’t come off when you use it?
    Thank You for sharing!

      Thanks Kelvin! I modeled the colors off of the Premiere Hand Corn Sheller but I went with a little lighter of a blue

    I just found one of these today. Thank you any idea on value pre-restoration?

    • @RestoreThis
      @RestoreThis  Před 2 lety

      I’d say the value is anywhere from $20-$40 depending on how badly it’s rusted and if all the pieces are there

    I thought it used some bearings or a bushing in that shaft.
