It would of been nice to tell us what chemicals were used to clean them out with. I have one that has kerosene in it for years and is stained on the inside it will scrub off with a bottle brush but some angles I can't get to.
I have a minute oil lamp that my mother-in-law gave me having a hard time cleaning the burner and collar. Can you help me with this of tell me where I can get new parts. I’m also having a hard time finding a wick that will work. It there any shops in the boise Idaho area that repair these lamps.
Found out that Awesome you get from the dollar store is the best at getting the old kerosene off the inside of the lamps. Just let it soak over night no scrubbing
I always glean great ideas from you.
What kind of glue did you use to stick on the collar on the glass tank?
That turned out great!
