This video features a Thorn Beta 5 street lighting lantern dating from 2008 running a 35 W SOX (low pressure sodium) lamp up to full power. Given that the long-lived Beta 5 (throughout its many styles) was finally discontinued by Thorn in 2008, this is likely to be one of the final Beta 5s produced.
