- Just a few notes before you get to the locations!
1. I'm sorry if the camera angles are pretty bad; This was a special video to me so I wanted to film it on my DSLR rather than my phone as I do for most vlogs, but my DSLR does not have a viewfinder so I couldn't really tell what was in frame at all! If you want better views of the locations, I've linked photos next to the streets below.
2. I also didn't think to get better footage of the locations (we did this for 10 hours and I was too tired to be competent, I'm sorry!) so definitely check out those photos.
3. I can't say for SURE that these are exact locations, again, I only went off of vague points on a map and at some points we walked around the block a bit to find a better spot, but for the most part, the locations are as accurate as I could get them!
4. I've finally added Closed Captions [CC] to my videos! So if at any point our audio is blocked by the wind, you can still know what we're saying!

Whilst I do prefer the Shadowhunters cast definitely over the movie, I do wish we were getting like an epic of six full length films (7 if CoHF were to be split in half).....*Sigh*

emmmabooks I was reading Clockwork Angel last week and was like "This would make such a great movie...." and quietly lamenting...
I always imagined Luke's bookstore to be on a kind of desolated street and the last building at the end of the block with garbage, dumpsters and old cars to the right of it and some body if water behind it. I know its a pretty interesting image and probably doesn't really fit in New York but that's the only way I can imagine it.

This is really cool! I would freak out to imagine the characters walking the same streets as me! Ilive in Boston and the only book I've read so far that takes place in an area I'm familiar with is Magnus Chase. Its crazy to read about landmarks you really know! It puts you straight into the story and also makes the story more real in a way! Amazing video Emma :)

this was so cool I've been putting off watching this video because i knew once i did i will just die of the feels and take a uber or train or car or plane whatever to get there and now.... thats what i wanna do. Especially when u guys went to the entrance for the faerie courts gahhhh its just so beautiful I WANNA GO THERE and even the renwick smallpox hospital that place looked like they came straight out of the books i have honestly got to do this
