Hundreds of students at colleges in France protested for Palestine and had a tense standoff with riot cops in Paris. Meanwhile, back in the US, Jewish and pro-Israel protesters have started organising counter-rallies against the pro-Palestine students. While these protests are increasing in scale every day, they still pale in comparison to the college protests of the 1960s and 1970s.
