I remember seeing that commercial several years ago on Hall of Advertising’s channel, The Guardian definitely has a…..rather interesting advertising strategy.

For that sunflower butter commercial, at first I thought "Aw, this is cute and wholesome, why is it cursed?" Then the cursed part hit me like a truck
Fun fact, it’s not butter! Butter is made from cows milk, Flora is half butter, half sunflower oil. Called a margarine.

15:15 This actually makes a bit more sense in Japanese culture. There are lots of monsters and mythical creatures that exist in Japanese folklore called yōkai, and many are just women with various random features. Lots of spirits came in the forms of human women, and there is one that is literally a woman who can stretch her neck indefinitely. They’re called the “Rokurokubi”. There’s also a variant that just has a detached head that can float around.
Is there an anime with those (types of) characters?
The disembodied head one is at least used a few times, and yokai-based characters appear a lot in anime

As someone who grew up in the NY Tri-State,
seeing that Uncle Majic commercial again is pure nostalgia. Yeah the fact he spelt it as Majic bothered me too, but the commercial is so all over the place that it doesn't even matter. He's not aiming specifically towards celebs, he's just using celeb to say "Hey, celebrities love me, and you will too!"

Okay. I remember how ridiculous the Uroclub advertisement was. Imagine being on a golf course having to haul a urine filled club until you finish. If that club leaks, then it's all down hill from here. Gross! 🤮
I don't believe the "mess free" part of their tag line for a minute, either. Imagine it sloshing around with the normal clubs and it starts leaking, pooling at the bottom of the golf bag...

I honestly thought it would be designed to carry the piss all the way down to the grass. Then again that's just as gross cause people are obviously gonna see a wet spot under the club coming out of nowhere. There's just so much wrong with this product.
I just don't understand how any of this works. If there's a reservoir, why does he have to be above a hole, that's meant fir golf balls no less? How do the creators think having a cloth covering it makes it suddenly not embarrassing? Why any of yhis?
Reservoir seems alarmingly-small to me. If I were a golfer and decided to use one of these on the green (assuming I've lost all sense/shame whatsoever), what do I do with a half-full bladder and a completely-full Uroclub?

I swear, I hear a lot about British things on TV getting banned for being inappropriate or scary.
I remember it on other channels at early o'clock in the morn back when I was going to school so about 15 years ago. It was.... Wierd. I'm not surprised.
Reactions like that taught me that kids only learn what's bad based on adult reactions, and if the adults raise a fuss over nothing (an innuendo that can easily be ignored can be explained in the teens) kids are going to learn that Wrestling is bad, nevermind having it mixed up with adult stuff alongside WWE programs that were on Saturday noons on SkyOne after the cartoons.
PRAISE THE LORD! Whoever made that commercial needs to be arrested, let's be real.

The long neck lady is a Rokorukubi, a classic Japanese yokai. They've been cutified in recent media, but they're historically scary so I'm guessing that was supposed to be cursed. Mission accomplished!

My favourite had to be the furniture warehouse store. It's like... If a 3D Family Guy existed for some reason but they put everything into comedy instead of animation.

It was originally going to be a lot better, but all of the assets of the movie were stolen. So they had to remake it. They spent most of their budget on the original assets, so they didn't have enough to make it close to the original in quality.
The Guardian commercial looks like 2 different ads stapled together. I feel like I've seen the animated bit in another ad too.

A cute detail in the margarine commercial (which I suppose they're allowed to call buttery?) is that the mother and father are wearing each other's robes... So yes, they did cover up their "wrestling outfits" very quickly.

There's a really cursed anti smoking ad. In it, its stop motion and a person starts smoking cigarettes off of a conveyor belt. He then goes to a robotic arm that has 20 cigarettes that he starts smoking. The commercial has a yellow y logo and it says something like "can you explain why smoking isn't stupid." I've been trying to see it
