10 Clubs In DESPERATE Need Of A REBUILD!

- Today we’re counting down 10 clubs in serious need of a rebuild this summer! From Atlético Madrid, who have fallen behind rivals Real Madrid and Barcelona in recent years and could potentially be waving goodbye to Diego Simeone over the next two, to Tottenham, who are yet to find a successor to Antonio Conte, could lose Harry Kane in the summer and don’t look confident of securing Champions League football, there are a ton of clubs across Europe in need of rejuvenation.
We also take a look at unlikely relegation candidates like West Ham, Sevilla and Valencia, while Everton still look for a long-term plan. Meanwhile Lyon have a lot of ground to make up in Ligue 1, and Borussia Mönchengladbach have an entire spine to replace in the next year or two. But who else makes our list? And who are we most worried about? Watch on to find out!

Being a Spurs fan has mostly been accepting midtable mediocrity. By our standards, the last 10 years have been amazing. If Harry finds a good place where he has a chance to challenge Shearer’s record I’ll be happy, he deserves success. Anything else is a bonus.

Atleti season ticket holder here, we definitely need a top right back and a proper holding midfielder aswell as a PROPER striker considering Morata is a donkey. We've still been very good in this second half of the season, showing that the squad we have definitely has plenty of quality in it.
We need a solid center back too since Josema (and now even Savić) is very injury prone

Well Liverpools issues are not as severe as these Teams. Ofcourse they need midfield reïnforcement, but they will probably splash the cash this summer.

Chelsea need a complete rebuild.
Chelsea have bought lots of all-round players.
However, all-round things don't connect and link with anything very well.
Hence Chelsea have no cohesion, and are easier to beat than an egg.

Deportivo de La Coruña. Financial mismanagement and an inability to keep bigger players have doomed the once Spanish champions to the 3rd tier.
Inter do not need a rebuild. If you guys actually pay attention instead of looking at numbers and stats, you would see inter has a lot of young talented players out on loan that have been with inter for a couple of years now in their academy. And Inter are currently beating Benfica. So they don't need a rebuild more like a re-tooling. More proof that Euro Football daily does not know shit.

Might be a biased opinion but not for a good reason, but I think West Brom should be on here, all the issues with the owner, the money he’s taken out the club, the issue of no parachute payments and taking out a loan against the club and even the issue of the council having to get involved to protect the stadium is a massive worry for every fan

I'd add Man United, Liverpool and Juventus to this list. We all know how poor Liverpool's midfield has been this season and United still have midfield and defensive issues to solve. Juve have been straight-up awful by their own standards (as well as being docked points) and should likely be number 1 on this list - Hertha Berlin have never been a truly huge Club in the BuLi like Bayern, Dortmund, Hamburg, etc. but Juventus are perpetually in the title race and both on- and off-pitch problems have left them in real financial trouble.
Valencia and Atletico Madrid could solve some on-pitch issues by securing some young players from Man City and Chelsea on buy-back clauses - City definitely owe them a favour for Ferran Torres anyway. They have so many promising youngsters that realistically have no chance of first-team football next season that 2 or 3 from each Club could greatly help Valencia. It's a no-lose situation for all parties - Valencia get players on the cheap and City and Chelsea get to send their youngsters away for experience at another big Club that desperately needs help (Valencia more than Atleti).

Well, apparently some of your top players will leave for free this summer. Is that true? And does the club plan to retain them in any way?
Gladbach had some very good teams in the last several seasons. Yet they weren't able to win anything. That's a shame. Not sure what they'll need to do. It looks like the only way for them to get back towards the top of the Bundesliga is to rebuild.
