This is an interesting technique sliding the loc through the crochet loc. This is the first video I have seen with this technique. I'm very interested in trying. Just pick up a pack with text this technique against the others I've seen for people with locs.
No shade , but other video I’ve discovered to try this style looks too complicated. Or just too much work . THIS is so simple and down to business. Thank you lovely 🥰

Hi. I’ve wanted to do loc over loc for sometime. This is the first video that looks to have the least amount of damage and stress on the hair. The person doing mine is very concerned about the tension
-Does it cause a lot of tension on the natural Loc ?

These are beautiful. How was the take down process? I have locs but I have stayed away from crochets because I did not want to cut my locs.
Hey love !!!Take down can get harder the longer they are in, with locs you have to be careful cause it’s almost like they will start to loc up!! I like to trim the wrap strands from the outer locs and snip the loop at the root, they slide right out !!!!
I would love to try these soon! do you have any suggestions for removing the faux locs so that the natural locs are not damaged?

What’s the longest you’d recommend leaving them in before they start to lock? What do you suggest to do to extend this time?
Hey love... I would say it honestly depend on the persons hair type. My daughter in the video has bring fine hair that tangles easily, so nothing longer than a month and a half for her. Best solution get the locks oiled and moisturized, when they get dry they will start to lock. Hope that helped 😊

Yes and yes, we take them right out or rewrap if her hair can handle it !!!

How do you keep the wrap around hair from unraveling? Did you tie it at the bottom?
Yes, I had to use a thin piece of the hair to secure it :)
How do you take this style out w out damaging natural locs ?
Hey! I would always recommend someone take down for you, by cutting the loop at the root away from the loc, hold the loc at the root to prevent pulling then it’s should slide right out. I do not recommend this being in for longer than a month to prevent a headache at removal !!!
Now this just has entirely too many commercials lol
