Bears fans have been stuck in a poverty mindset for a long time. The reality is, of course this isn't a crazy take. At all really. Roster wise there's 2 NFC teams better than the Bears. If Caleb is who we believe him to be there's no reason they can't finish well into double digit wins and if they stay healthy are capable of a deep playoff run.
100% agree, if you watched the bears past year their only weakness was the passing game, if caleb is legit, i believe the bears are the best team in the nfc, the 49ers nearly lost to the packers and the lions in the playoffs last year

It helps when the rookie quarterback does not have to carry the team like Brock Pudry or Kyle Orton. If the defense can continue the success of last year plus the new offensive weapons it is possible.

I LIKE IT, !!!! That guy is alright with me!!! We know we are playoff bound. We just need another star edge rusher opposite Montez Sweat & our secondary can look like superstars! We have two shut down corners!!! Believe because it can happen. If Caleb stays healthy.
He did give great examples, and the bears do have arguably a top 5 defense if some of the young defensive tackle Talent can continue to develop. With arguably a top five secondary and an elite linebacking corps to go with it. They led the league in defensive scoring from week 7 on and finish the season with the number one overall rushing defense after finishing nearly last the year before. They led the league in interceptions after the Montez sweat trade. They have two clear number one receivers plus picked up a terrific contested ball receiver who also happens to run great routes. They have a talented running back committee and the offensive line has several players that can play at a pro bowl level when healthy, not to mention the fact that there is a 10x Improvement in the offensive coordinator and play calling room. Leslie, the schedule will really help this year besides the game in london.

If they went to the superbowl this year I wouldn’t be surprised. If everything starts smoothly and they gel quickly, why not? In the next 3 years the bears definitely win it. I say this with more confidence than I had when I said it about the 2004 bears.

I did a topic on this earlier this morning and he also went on the colon show and said this too when you hear his point you can't argue it the bear should at the very minimum start off 6th and 3 if not 7 and 2 Caleb Williams got 10 games under his belt before he plays a division opponent the bears can have a two-game lead at that point

Who cares though? You get somebody in the Sports World who actually highly respects the Bears talents. Usually nobody in the National Media Sports believed in the Bears in the past. If you know I don't want 100% believe it but it is nice to hear
Rookie favored schedule. Not one rookie came in the NFL with the roster of the Bears. Both Offensively and Defensively as well as special teams. There were 4 games that should have been wins last year and that was with a quarterback that couldn't conceive the thought of reading the field quickly. Most defenses are going to have to pick their poison. The Bears are going to score lots of points no doubt about it. The D will have a ton of take aways and the pressure of stopping the Bears will be much greater! 🐻 Down!

I really like Caleb but he played in a 1 read system and hasn’t taken snaps under center (the act of taking the snaps is of course simple but turning your back to the defense is one of the biggest factors). Caleb should be great early on but don’t freak out if he has some blunders
