@@ruchikrandhap . how do i know if my vine is ready to drink
Good one 😋🍷🍷🍷
Thanks a lot!
Thank you for your recipe will surely try it out
I made the wine and bottled the wine on the 8th day unfortunately one bottle I found broken into pieces and lost the wine. Is it because I stored in a whiskey bottle.
Did you follow the exact process? I am not sure, the type of bottle should not really matter.
@@ruchikrandhap yes I did follow the exact recipe. My wine was not clear as your while I bottled. Anyway will try making it again. What other fruits can I made the same wine recipe please.
The wine clears up as it ages. Next time maybe you can keep it undisturbed for longer before you decant it. I haven't tried making any other wine using the same recipe actually
@@ruchikrandhap I love it. I made it 3 times. To make more. Dubbel op de recipe right?
In case I washed the peels and use is there any problem.I have three pineapple skins what is the proportion of water, sugar yeast and egg whites.thank you.
There is no problem if you wash the pineapple before cutting it. Just make sure to pat it dry and then cut it. For 3 pineapple skins I would say double the sugar and check the sweetness. If the pineapples are sweet you don't need to add too much sugar. You can increase the sugar by 1-1/2 times. Egg white is only used to remove impurities so you can keep the same quantity
I made it! Though I made some mistakes - I used 1/3 of sugar from the reciepie and in the end I was adding sugar to wine... Also had some problems filtering the wine but I know how to fix it in future.
And could you please advise me something couse in the end the % of alcohol was too high (IMHO), can I somehow lower it?
And it was my first expirience making wine! Thank you for the reciepie, amazing taste surprised me, I wanna try again and make it even better
Thanks a lot for the great feedback! Well, you need to use that amount of sugar or else it may taste too strong and not very palatable. I am not sure how you can reduce the alcohol content at this stage apart from diluting the drink a bit with water before serving
Thank you for response
Either buy or make some cold 100% pineapple juice, and pour it through a coffee filter and let it drip out slowly to filter out impurities. Add it to your glass. I would not mix it directly in the wine bottle itself or you may contaminate the taste over time (unless you plan on drinking it within a couple weeks time). Sample before adding it to your glass or bottle, some store-bought pineapple juice can taste "off", especially the shelf-safe brands.
Would of you tell me what the egg does? Thanks for the video
The egg helps clarify the liquid. Egg or egg shells are generally used in the process of winemaking
♥️
Thanks a lot!
What to substitute in place of egg plz?
You can skip it if you like..or just use cleaned egg shells. It will help in clarifying the wine
You mention store in a cool and dark place. I live in a coastal town which is rather warm or hot
Yes you can keep it inside your kitchen cabinet which would be dark
What adjustments do I have to make if I use two pineapple skin?? Pls reply
You can double the recipe or stick to the same recipe, you may get a stronger wine
May i put it on the fridge during the process?
In the fridge? No - it is meant to ferment at room temperature
How to store them? Can i put it in the fridge? Or a room temperature? And How long is the shelf life ?
Store in a glass bottle and keep it in a cool place of your kitchen or wine rack. Not fridge. Shelf life is years if prepared hygienically
hi, is it okay if the fermentation will take 25 days?
That’s not a problem
Can we use instant dry yeast for this?
Yes you can
can we substitute brown sugar instead of white?
Yes you can but it will affect the colour of the wine so it is recommended to use white sugar
I strained it in 5 days instead of three. Is that okay. Also how will we know in case it has gone bad?
It is ok no problem. If it has gone bad it will form a layer of fungus and smell like vinegar
Does it ferment fully in 10 days
It is in a continuous process of fermentation but after 10 days you can drink it
yyyyyyt did u put dry active yeast! it well smell bread. also forwhat sake egg white??
Yeast is for fermentation. How did u say it smells like bread if you haven’t even tried this recipe? Egg is used to purify the wine from impurities in the sugar
@@ruchikrandhap egg is used to purify? 😂 Purify the wine from sugar? 😂😂😂🤣
Ok doctor...
I love self sabotaging comments! Pls google before you come and mock me. Since I guessed you are too lazy to do that I’m sharing it here “According to Wine Maker Magazine, egg whites are one such fining agent as they are rich in albumen, making them ideal for softening a wine's astringency by binding and reducing the tannin content (leftover from grape skins, seeds and stems)”
Where I come from and as practiced by my grandmother especially - apart from the above reasons, egg shells were added even to remove the dull colour in granulated sugar which was dust and other impurities. Today the sugar we get in the market is much cleaner and whiter. Hope this clarifies. I am no doctor but you are clearly a jobless troll 😆 Ok bye
@@ruchikrandhap lol, arrogance personified that you took it personally and got hurt....
Clearly shows where instead of ur asking the first comment in this thread in a professional manner you're being rude as to how they can say about the bread related comment, when all they did was expressed that comment as a doubt i guess.....
Coming back to your latest reply to me, No wonder you love self sabotaging even though didn't ask what you love , coz no wonder you yourself got a self sabotaging personality looking at your reply and arrogance to other comments, and I didn't mock you as youre judgemental, no wonder u took it in a negative way .
N I'm not lazy...n neither do I need to Google and depend upon Google unlike you to learn everything because infact on the contrary lazy people like you are just too dependable only on Google and think that Dr Google is everything to reach out to for learning something and people like you think doctor Google is the mr/Mrs all know....
I'm no jobless troll but looks like someone got hurt or jealous too bad that they think being rude to others is fine but can't digest a sarcastic reply to themselves....
I'm no jobless troll but you certainly look like a judgemental lazy person though....goodbye
The first comment said “it will smell like bread” - i only asked how they can say that unless they tried the recipe. I only challenged the claim. Simple. Not sure how it is arrogant. Anyway, you can assume whatever you like about me. That’s your call. If I were you I wouldn’t go poking my nose around. Why call me names when you werent even the original commenter?
Egg shells if happened to use, then how many eggs shell is enough and how to use it crushed to smaller bits? Thanks.
The shells of one egg is sufficient. Please use it the way I have shown in the video
@@ruchikrandhap Cheers and Thanks.
Will the pineapple flesh work fine, if someone throws away the peels?
You can use the flesh as well but you may need to alter the quantity of sugar accordingly - depending on the sweetness of the fruit
is it still necessary to put egg white? can i just skip it?
No worries, you can skip it
Can l use fermentation jar please
If you have it please use it
Can use steel vessels
Yes you can..
Steel can add off flavors to your wine. You can use it, but not recommended. Glass or a food grade container is better!
Mine has bitter taste...what should I do?? Reply pls
Does it smell foul? Does it have a layer of fungus or anything?
Mine, It's 9 days and it's clear now And the bubbles stopped...
That’s great!
Why add to egg white?
Egg white helps remove impurities in the sugar..
After one night. There’s a bubbles or foam at the top. Is that normal?
Bubbles and foam are quite natural..however if you get a foul smell do check by using a clean, dry spoon to scoop a little liquid - if it tastes like vinegar it is probably gone off
Gotchu! Also can I leave it for more than 3 days to ferment?
This is non alcoholic wine drink right?😅
It does develop the alcohol the longer you keep it. But yes, if you drink it as soon as you prepare it (within the first two weeks) it may not have as much alcohol content in it
What's the function of the egg
It helps remove impurities, especially those present in the sugar
why added egg white.
It acts as a clarifying agent to remove impurities from the sugar but you can skip it
What will be alcohol % after 10 days
Sorry I haven’t checked it!
Why eggs?
They act as a purifier
What’s the substitute for egg and yiest?
No substitute for yeast but you can skip the egg if you like
Natural yeast but is vital to fermentation and alcohol making so is sugar the more sugar you have the wine the less you have the dyer the wine. Yeast is very important in wine making and any alcohol except liquor you get wine yeast online which produces a strong better tasting wine or you can use bread yeasy
Can I purchase directly from you?
Sorry I don’t sell wines
13 days!
Yes!
Why you add the egg???
I followed a traditional method where egg shells are known to extract the impurities in the sugar. You can totally skip it
Lost me at the egg. Never saw that before
Then you need to read up abt why eggs are usee in the process of winemaking
