We noticed that our reservation fee policies caused some confusion in two of the videos and that unfortunately one of our promo workers provided misleading information about the deposits.

This is getting pretty common on a lot of bikes. Personally I’m not a fan of a big distraction, but to be fair these often either just show different gauges (like coolant/oil temp, rpm, odometer, etc.) with some higher end touring bikes have CarPlay, which arguably causes you to use your phone less.
When I ride I really couldn’t care less about fussing with my phone on a trip, but these can be nice features for long trips!
It’s the same thing with screens in vehicles. In our van you have to jump through hoops just to change the temperature and it’s dangerous for the driver to do that.
The only thing that could make riding a bike safer is adding a huge, not at all distracting screen to the tank.

Then don’t look at it while you’re riding. Humans have autonomy. Self control. It’s our responsibility to exercise it.
Love how they say up to 233 miles but that mileage drops by 1/2 when on the highway where most bikes want to be
So by 118 miles of highway riding you are stopping to charge for what 2 hours ?
233+ is highway, it only drops about 5 miles in city because of power breaking

These big ass screens in cars are a reason people on motorcycles get hit. Why the f would you want a big ass screen on your bike with cameras? People need less distractions on the road not more.

That price is ridiculous for an ev motorcycle. You can get a Zero motorcycle for half that price. Energica motorcycles are also cheaper than that bike but get better range.

@@gur262 if the Cybertruck has taught us anything, it’s that the marketting material NEVER matches the finished product. This bike might get that kind of mileage down hill at 25 mph, but the trouble with bikes is, nobody rides them for fuel efficiency. My bike tells you when you’re riding efficiently, and that indicator only comes on when I stop.
I wonder if we'll see this in the next season of Westworld...

Edit* I went to an electric vehicle show at a college recently and saw one of these. I went up and shook the guy’s hand and asked if he rode with a camera. He didn’t… I went back to my dad and he being mildly morbid said ‘you just shook a dead guys hand’ He and I have both seen friends who didn’t make it in accidents. I will say some electrical vehicles are cool. But for public roads I have to admit that this might be the dumbest idea I’ve ever seen.

Drivers typically use the excuse of I didn’t see them coming, but could never say I didn’t hear them coming because that’s why they use load exhausts. Now they can which makes these riders completely invisible. So if you want to evade police I guess it’s perfect yk. But if you’re going for safety this thing is a death trap

FALSE: A bone stock 91 honda civic with a weak ass single cam 1.5 liter D15B2 top speed is 139mph soooowwwwy but this bike gets gapped on the straights by a fiesty teen in a 30 year old car.

124 is about as fast as u wanna go w a street fighter with that upright of a seating position, plus no rear hub. On a super sport motorcycle tho you’d want 180-200mph.

EV (of all kinds) have a fairly low topspeed due to heat building up in the motor and battery.
I second that about the upright seating position and street fighter. I have a chopper-like bike. A V-twin and doing highway speeds on that thing is horrendous. No wind deflection at all and it’s no good. On the other hand, my Hayabusa has basic fairings and a more forward position, can do freeways speeds very comfortably. Barely wind.
It's not a dumb question.
And the reason is whatever an electric motors peak torque is, it ONLY produces that much, at exactly zero rpm.
And their torque output is inversely proportional to rpm.
As an electric motors rpm increases, torque output decreases.
An electric motor would like very much to pull tall gears, rather than turn high rpm.
( just ask Tesla)
Thats why this bike can do 0-60 faster than a hayabusa, yet have a similar top end as a 90 horsepower '89 Dodge shadow.
Battery packs are heavy , so are transmissions.
Sport bikes are light.
That's the problem.
This bike as a sport bike, is a pipe dream.
