I can totally understand how challenging it is to raise a Shih Tzu, especially if it's your first dog. I started this channel to help Shih Tzu owners take better Care of their Cuddle Monster.
I do sleep with my shih and there is no risk high enough to change it. Nor a man handsome enough 😂

My girl is now 11 years old & she has been sleeping woih me since I rescued her. She does snore. She wakes me up to go out & then I put her on her bed in the living room where she sleeps the rest of the night. I do have a high bed so I put her down & pick her up so she doesn't jump down & hurt herself. I am single so it doesn't matter. She's a good girl. She likes sleeping on the cool floor in the summer as I have tile in my room & the kitchen/ dining room too. The living room has carpet but she also has a therapeutic bed too that she sleeps on.
😅😅😅I’m not single and I just a got a shitzu puppy 8 weeks old and my man sleeps on the bed with us he doesn’t like sleeping with dogs that’s much but I love it when she hugs me at night
My Girl is nearly 5 and has slept on my bed on my feet since she was 10mths old She snores so do l altho l did explain to my neighbour above lts not me wow is she loud she wakes me in the morning with a paw pat and a little gruff but she also likes to sleep on the hallway floor as it is cool and she has a whole sofa to herself so no probs...l love waking on a morning and having a cuddle then she has a silly 5m jumping all over the bed
I had 2 Shitzus and they slept with me from the time they were 8 weeks until they sadly past away at the age of 18 years young. Miss them dearly , they are smart and they will let you know when they want up to go potty ! I just bought a bichon shih Tzu mixed and he sleeps with now too. He is 8 months old now I got him at 4 months old . He is very smart too . I just lost the last shitzu last December she would of been 18 this pass January. I miss her too Heaven and back . Lost the male in 2020 he would of been 18 that June but pass in May of 2020 Miss him to heaven and back too . As long as they are love and pampered they will love 💕 you unconditionally for sure . They act more like your child then they do a dog Lol 😝 so as long as you take them to vet and get all that they need at vet done , and once a month flea and heart medication‘s and shots updated they will live a long happy life . Seems like a positive video but I had my shih tzu since 2009, (she passed away in 2021 due to organ failure), and let me tell you this was one of the most easiest dogs ever. I've had a Collie, German Shepherd, and an Irish setter. We've slept together, taken naps together, taking walks together watched sports together. Good day.....
Our shihtzus casper and happy sleeps beside my bed. Even if they have their own beds, they love the floor as it is cooler. Love them to bits. They usually wakes up on a certain time and goes to bed when i do. Funny is when it is night time and I am still watching late at night, one will bark as if signaling that it is time to go to the bedroom and sleep, all because they wont go to my bedroom without me to sleep at night. They are 8 and 7yrs old shihtzus. 🐶❤️🐶
I am so lucky my shih tzu lets me sleep with her! I'm glad because I couldn't sleep without her!!

My fur daughter doesn’t always sleep with me. I think she’s a little bit more independent, most of the time she sleeps on her bed in my bedroom. ❤🐶🥰
I'm grateful my Shih Tzu doesn't bark. She is so nice and quiet. She speaks to me in other way when she wants or needs something. Barking is a bad habit that is learned. So if you don't teach them they don't hear it from other dogs, you will have a nice quiet Shih Tzu. My neighbor's Shih Tzu looking dog, barks all the time. I just have to go outside or walk down the street & you can hear the barking through their house. I don't know how they stand it.

In my house my bed has now become my 2 boy fur babies bed...including toys, balls, chews etc!
At one point I had 4 shih tzus but have lost 2 of my beautiful girls in the past year due to health problems...
I think that's why I like to keep the 2 boys close...
They are a huge comfort to me and I hope that I'm a comfort to them 💓 💗

My babies sleep in my bed with my husband and I. Actually my oldest girl starts walking to my bedroom at 10:00 pm to let me know it’s her time

My 2 shih tzu girls wake me up with kisses 😂 they do wake me up at the crack of dawn but that's ok I'm used to it. First thing I do is take them out to potty so they wait and don't pee on my bed

So true with private moments.. Jajaja, it get's creepy when your doing it and your shih tzu staring at you, worst case is that it will try its way to snuggle and start kissing you too🤣still I love her sleeping with me in our bed.

My shih tzu has been sleeping on the bed since he was 10 weeks old and now expects that this has become permanent.
First time i touched and played with a shih tzu in my friend's house.. His name is oreo.. After that im totally obsessed to keep one.. Hope ur videos will gonna be helpful then❤️

Mine sleeps in his bed or underneath my bed in the night time. I actually him on my bed once and he wanted to get off and walk around plus he hates heights.

My little boy has been sleeping in the bed with me for years, I made sure he knew that there were options. I have a little set of pet stairs that is next to my bed, and, if he needs to use the potty, needs a drink or just feels like being down on the ground for whatever reason, he knows he can without having to worry about disturbing me. Also, considering where I live and the mix between the occasional coyote and fisher, I made sure to teach my little boy to use the pee pee pad at nights because we're not going outside to use the yard. During the day though, he does get me up to let me know that he needs to go. Honestly though, all animals have been in my bed with me while growing up; so it's just something I'm used to. I am a restless sleep but it cracks me up when my little guy kicks me with his leg. Almost to say "Knock it off dad, I'm trying to sleep." Can't feel too sad or bad when you wake up to see a little face or snoring. I love it!

My shih tzu has to sleep next to me haha. I tried giving him his own pet bed but he wasn't having it. He puts his head on his own pillow and cuddles with me while we share a blanket. 🥺

My pups bossy he was do a low growl or low bark to put him on or off the bed in the middle of the night will he outgrow this or should I try to brake this habit now 😭

I have had my shihtzu for 4 months and i am still scared to sleep with him that he pees my bed and he doesnt like laying on the bed he prefers his bed or the floor 😅
Once they are potty trained, you can get those underpads and place one at the foot of your bed and/or under a soft small dog cushion bed with a small blanket on top and try it out. As with children, don't give water before bedtime or they need to pee in the middle of the night & early morning.

My dog loves people so when I sleep with her she snuggles up to mah face and sometimes it’s annoying bc of her bad breath but she and I go on walks everyday and I take her to Starbucks to get a pupa chino every once in while sometimes she will go up to Gabriel my (Boyfriend and bark at him and she tries to split us apart when we sit on the couch by sitting in between us hehe he has a cat names Sonic so she doesn’t like the smell of him… but my dog is so cute and glad to know the benefits of sleeping with my shih tzu
Should not have bad breath unless dental problems. Get it sorted and teeth checked and cleaned or teeth will need to be removed
