In defense of Kars, once he obtained the mask he gained what was basically the knowledge of evolution. He has his battle smarts, but as a biologist he could be the best to ever be. He knows the dna and biological make-up of all organisms of past, present and future, if he was in the conversation with Vegapunk I'd genuinely have him in my favor if it ever came to biology.

i disagree only due to the fact that one piece would have more species than the jojo verse that he would have knowledge of, and they have all the species we have as well. Santana, a weaker and probably stupider version of Kars learned human speech in a few minutes after minutes out of his 2000 year slumber. My initial thought would be Bulma. She built a functioning, accurate Time Machine with scraps during an APOCALYPSE. To be frank, I don’t know if anything she’s built has ever failed😅
One could argue that she already had the project in the works before then and likely had a working schematic or something, all she had to do was build the machine.
But then again, Senku has never built anything to that extent so it’s really up to how you value their feats.

Dazai formed strategies to combat one of the biggest players in Japan's underworld,a North American secret terrorist organisation that holds positions of power in politics,economics,law enforcement,and more.He predicted all of their moves and was able to keep up with Fyodor,who managed to make a master gambler kill himself of his own accord by making him think he was in an ability space,while not using any ability whatsoever.
Dazai's expertise in foresight, strategic planning, manipulation,verbal comprehension index,etc. could only be matched by Fyodor and Ranpo.

An amazing video but, I am going to go with Kisuke. Firstly, Aizen straight up admitted himself that when it comes down to intelligence, Kisuke is superior. Secondly and most importantly, unlike most of the other characters mentioned in this video (like Bulma) Kisuke’s intelligence is not primarily focused on just his scientific abilities(like creating the Hogyoku which is absolutely incredible feat of intelligence in on itself) but also his intelligence when thinking strategy. Like, him and Aizen were basically playing 4D chess game with everyone else being their chess pieces throughout the entirety of Bleach.

This list is about who is smarter but when it came to Senku vs Bulma you started to fault Senku for needing someone like Kiseki or Ukyo to help with... labor and sense of hearing??? I could understand if it were something that Senku couldn't do because he didn't know about these things but that isn't what was holding him back. It was physical ability that required Senku to rely on others to help him, and nothing else.

I think it's worth noting that from what I remember, Sora and Shiro learned a new language in like an hour, Sora played four RPG characters at once, Shiro memorized literally all of chess, beat god itself at chess, and they planned the outcome to the whole word chain game as soon as it started, with Jibril's counters all being part of their plan. They are quite literally an a whole other level of intelligence until you get to inhuman levels of intelligence like meruem

Interesting video. I would say that some of your judgments were not necessarily about intelligence but power scales. If you want to do this video properly you have to look beyond the powers they have but judge based on the meta levels of thinking they use to implement meta level strategies.

Via his research, he discovered ways of allowing Marine ships to pass through the Calm Belts without fear of a Sea King attack, by covering the bottom of the ships with Seastone.

Continuing Clover's research to honor his memory, Vegapunk has read and fully memorized every single book that had been rescued from Ohara. He was able to uncover many secrets from the Void Century.

Biggest miss is picking edward of osamu dazai... when osamu and his biggest rival in the whole series were being watched and couldnt speak freely, they used every single word and conversation they'd had in the past in 3 different languages and assigned it to a character that they both assossiated the words with, and from this were able to create a secret code that only they were able to converse with. All of this, on the spot. Other than osamu losing to Ed, I agree with pretty much every other take

Bulma easily solo's the whole list... she was able to create a Time Machine all the way back in Z which shocked even the Gods and Angels of the present day

She was only able to do that because she had resources already. If you put senku and Bulma into the same situation there's absolutely no way she's smarter than him.
Personally, I think Kisuke is the smartest character in this video. Sure Belma is incredibly smart but thats really only the case when it comes to science and not much else. Kisuke on the other hand is both extremely intelligent when it comes to science and his strategic thinking. Not only has he created the Hogyoku which is very similar with dragons balls in that it can grant a certain persons their desires but also grants them a level of immortality so great that the entire soul society and even someone like Yhwach couldn’t deal with Aizen because of the immortality granted to him by the Hogyoku.And that’s only Kisukes intelligence when it comes to science, when talking about strategic thinking? He managed to prevent hyoga and his men from even entering the village except for homura. He managed to make a truce between tsukasa's army and the kingdom of science in a cave with little time to spare. And when he had to team up with Tsukasa to fight hyoga after Tsukasa was injured he managed to create something equivalent to a stun gun which won him the fight. That's not even including the fact that he's able to do so precise calculations in his head that he was able to prevent himself from being petrified by Ibara by throwing up the miracle fluid at such a precise angle so that it would unpetrify him right after he got petrified. I haven't even mentioned how he beat ibara or the other parts of the manga that have not been animated yet or his sheer depth of knowledge and processing speed. Clearly senku is the smartest person here on this list.

Vegapunk has a different type of smart than Ranpo does. It's like comparing a Detective to a Enigneer, the comparisons of smarts here is just really weird. But since you didn't really know Ranpo, you gave the edge to Vegapunk which is fair. But don't sleep on my boy Ranpo. Also Dazai is literally one of the smartest characters in the show of BSD. Even smarter than Ranpo, he predicted the entire plots and manipulated another insane manipulator in the show and survived every death he had because he planned ahead of time. Rob no offense but you're sleeping on Bungo Stray Dogs characters, there is NO WAY Elric is hanging with Dazai.
