- This job took place in the lift motor room on the 50th floor of a new tower block in #vauxhall #london it was hot and noisy but it’s not hard work if you love doing it is it!! It took me around 3 hours to complete because the terminations were awkward and took a bit of studying to work them out.

Great content as always mate and looking forward to seeing more big industrial jobs in the future.
I’ll keep making them as long as people enjoy them.
Top man , your work is banging
love your videos mate, do alot of this kind of stuff all over the underground network. no matter how many people you work with. someone will always have another way of doing things. Definitely going to give the exhaust cutter ago on the next one. great idea
I don’t want to sound dramatic but it changed my life when I started using it😂😂😂😂. I’ve had mine, the same one as well, for 8 years.
It did though. It's the best!!
I enjoy watching your channel as it’s a bit different to all the others.Keep the vids coming
I will as long as you all keep watching. Thanks man👍🏻
I'm french, i appreciate your job, your good job. Bonne chance pour la suite ;)
Thank you very much. What nice things to say. I had to use google translate though😂😂😂👍🏻
Legendary
I do the 750v feeder cables on the railway and we use the same cembre equipment. Good job though mate like the exhaust cutter trick, I used a pipe cutter but might look into this 👍🏼
I use it to do the armour cut, I then use it to expose the armour and I use it to strip the pvc off to expose the copper for the lug to be fitted.
Top man.......👍
Thanks mate. 👍🏻
Could be worse, you could just send him to Hull…😂
Quality!! Never seen an exhaust cutter used on armoured will defo be getting one got a 70mm to do next week do u use it on all size armoured and is there technique to using it ?
It won’t do a cable less than a 4c x 10 (3c x 16) but anything above that you be fine. What I would say is have a practice so you know the depth you’re cutting to. I made a point of this the first time I bought it. You’ll not regret buying one though. They’re the tits!!😂😂
@@jointechcabling9103 from seeing you do it wrap round couple of turns and that perfect cut life made easier and no uneven cuts will be 100% getting one !! Keep up the good work!
@@jointechcabling9103 used it today for the first time on a 70mm 4 core amazing !! You need to get used to the feel but defo an essential now !!
@@ukbullylife7968 one of the best tools in by bag!!
Cant wait to try the exhuast cutter trick. Tricky work on your own!! How many pac man shrouds do you end up with??
Practice on a bit of scrap until you get the feel for it.
It can be tricky but there’s always a way round it. I enjoy solving the problems as well as making a nice job of it.
Shrouds cut too big are one of my pet hates. I make sure it’s tight as a nuns fanny!!😂😂😂
Brilliant videos mate I would love to come work with you any work going lol
I’m flattered by that. I haven’t got anything going at the minute. Maybe when I get too old to carry my tools I’ll give you a shout😂😂😂. If I get any real big jobs I’ll put a video out requesting people.
150A per core 600VAC ratings?
I wouldn’t know without doing a calculation and I’ve just come in from the pub😂😂😂
