smoke is drawn to the tallest object near the fire, which is usually the dude sitting beside it. the heat creates a low pressure zone that draws the surrounding air in and the dude sitting next to the fire blocks the air from being pulled in, hence the smoke.

I agree with becoming a expert on everything, I do get some enjoyment learning a new skill or way to do something. But its time consuming and its hard to apply those skills in every day life. But its better to be prepared then sorry.

My mosin was my home defense weapon for some time. First rifle I ever bought and I won't be getting rid of it anytime soon.

You are saying they are different because of the amount of melanin in their skin. It's kind of the definition of racism. If the people you prefer have a common set of characteristics other than their skin color, why not use those as the differentiator?
I mean that’s literally what makes them different. Everybody isn’t the same as everybody else, nor should they be. Black people prefer to be around black people, same for white people, Asian people, and every other race of people. Their skin color is just a descriptor, or the visible distinction.
Except what you're saying isn't true at all. People like to be around the people they've been around. For example adoptees prefer to be around the "race" of their adoptive parents when it differs from their genetic parents. People who move into new countries at young ages prefer their new countrymen over their former. Racism is a remnant of physical segregation.
To say "this amount of melanin means this about that person's character" is the definition of racism.
