You could use it to heat up your van on cold days, too! Run it 4 minutes, turn it off, open the door, let the heat out.

There is a CZcams channel called Counter Cooking-she cooks in all of the Dash kitchen appliances. She made cake and cookies in this Dash oven- did require some modifications- like foil on top to prevent the top from burning before the cake and cookie were done cooking.

Thats a great little appliance. Easy bake ovens are over 100 bucks, this is better and cuter too. Happy Holidays

It's very cute. When I saw the "giant" pop tart I realized it holds the size of a slice of bread. That'll be so nice for bagels or to heat up a sandwich.

You can get a silicone mat and cut it to the size of the tray instead of foil, you just wipe it clean after every use, nothing sticks to it, I have one in my toaster oven. I thought your ham thing came out perfect but I like crispy crunchy stuff. 😬 I think I’m going to get one for the road. Thanks for the practice run , the pizza looked yummy .

Just a couple hints. Either use some aluminum foil on the bottom or some non-cooking spray. Those little pans are super cheap. I even think they make disposable ones you can buy off Amazon. I have a bigger one for my RV and I think I might score this little guy for like toast or something. Thank you for the review.

What about tater tots. I would line the pan with foil. Maybe ziplock bag up single portions to keep in van fridge. They will be thawed by the time you are ready to cook them, so adjust cooking time. Then dip in barbecue sauce to eat.🙂

Nice! Not sure what you actually can cook in it, but it certainly is convenient for heating food. :-)
You might want to buy a package of the Reynolds Foil Wrapper sheets at DT. Haven't been there since last spring, but they were 25 for $1.25. Parchment paper sheets also could be useful, but they tend to scorch easily, so, please, be careful!
You can use the foil sheets to line the pan (dull side up to avoid burning food) to minimize clean-up, or to completely wrap food--keeps bread from drying out too much.
You might be able to cut the foil sheets in half to line the oven pan. I can't gauge the size of the pan on my cell phone. LOL Just be sure the foil does not touch the oven interior, including the door. I also use half-size sheets for wrapping most of the food I am reheating in my regular toaster oven.
Be sure to let your brother know that he bought you an awesome gift! Even if he needed a tiny nudge in the right direction! ;-)
    ... Teale 🏜️

Nice little RV oven. It's like those tiny cupcake bakers I gave my kids when they were small. They got really hot, too. I always save the microwave trays or get a wooden tray and put it underneath the unit. I do that with the instapot and slow cooker as well. Thank you for the review.

We made across country camping trip on 2018. We bought a toaster oven that also had a grill on top you could cook whatever eggs, bacon etc. Also a 3ccup coffee maker in the corner. We used it every day. We were staying in campgrounds so we had electric at every site. They have them on Amazon. A very retro look❣Happy camping 🤗

Got this unit and same color. Love it! Its surpring how many times I use it...mostly for tasiting bread, reheating pizza and the occasional odd tray of something. I really think its great for a camper van , dorm room and intimate galley configurations lol. Why not. Its fast, its cheap and its easy on the eyes 🙂

I missed this video because I was in quartzsite meeting you, lol. I just found this on a search because I bought one also. I put my pizza on the rack so it would get crispy on the bottom. It takes more than five minutes to get crispy so that was a bad idea because it flopped upside down and got all over and made a mess, lol. I can’t wait to try some other things.

Probably the ham filled roll would have probably heated up just fine maybe three to three and a half minutes just get yourself one of those little battery operated temperature probes that you use in the kitchen and you can stick it in and see how hot it is and that will help you start judging how long to cook something

Hi Amanda, Could you do an explainer vid about your solar generator? I thought I remember that you used to have a Jackery, and I'm not familiar with the Vanpowers brand. Why did you switch brands? Are you happy with your choice? Pros/cons of each? Are your Quartzite colleagues using this brand too? Thanks in advance!
