    Anyone notice the big clearance against Harlequins was off his left foot and the kick through running at full speed at 3.05 (Gloucester I think?) was right footed. Incredibly skillful second row!

    There's something about a good poacher that I absolutely LOVE in rugby! Nothing gets the morale and teamspirit up like a a good poach... maybe a dominant scrum is up there but still! Tadhg Beirne is shaping up to be one of my all time favorites!

      My favourite thing in rugby. Actually prefer the feeling of winning a good turnover than scoring a try… 🤩

      And then he joined the team that he beat in the final, most likely because he wanted to play internationally
      Don't worry Munster is taking good care of him he was a key part in Munsters performance in that narrow loss to Leinster

    Cracking compilation on a great player. Having said that, 10am l the only one who feels his consistency has dropped somewhat since his Scarlets days. He was their key player in 2017 Celtic League campaign and got them to ERC semi-finals in 2018. I remember Scarlets fans at that game being unreservedly gushing in their praise and admiration of him. If he can recapture THAT level of consistency and avoid injury he will be a true legend for club, country and Lions, no doubt.

      @@AndrewDavidForde random question, but what do you think about adding Georgia to the 6 Nations?

    • @AndrewDavidForde
      @AndrewDavidForde  Před 3 lety +4

      Fish'n'Chips personally I think there should be a play off at the end of the year where the 6th placed team in the Six Nations plays the winner of the Rugby Europe Championship (so most likely Georgia) and the winner takes part in the Six Nations the following year. I understand arguments against it though!

    • @AndrewDavidForde
      @AndrewDavidForde  Před 3 lety +1

      Personally I don’t think so. But, he is the type of player Gatland loves; a second row who’s comfortable at 6 and is a jackal threat. It wouldn’t surprise me as apart from Maro Itoje and James Ryan I don’t think there’s any other second row nailed on!

    • @AndrewDavidForde
      @AndrewDavidForde  Před 3 lety +5

      James Burrell i’d pick him in my squad but I don’t necessarily think he’s nailed on, any mention of AWJ and Lions often causes lots of debate, but if the tour is delayed by a year then his chances will probably decrease!
