@@djmattplay @Matt Play nahhh I'm gonna keep the b16 for now at least and build that engine up in a year or 2. lol maybe eventually though, It's still mostly stock other than a few things so I'm gonna do performance mods first, full exhaust system, coilovers and suspension upgrades etc get a Hondata s3k ecu.. I'm gonna wait a bit to do engine block and head work loll. Thanl you though I appreciate it💜
@@RustyNacho ahh ok .. by the first post, I couldn’t tell if you just got the engine, or the car with the engine.. nice I have been enjoying mine. I want to go thru the suspension, but I put a lip kit on it and repainted it already.. it’s looking good. Mine is Milano Red. Love that red, I used to have a 92 Prelude the same color. What color is yours? Is your drivers seat upper bolster worn? Mine is and can’t find a clean drivers seat to save my life lol.

Ive had my 94 del sol Si for 4 years 2nd owner surprisingly its bone stock like if i just got it from the dealer had the original radio in it i had all the manuals and even the motor trend issue when they compared the miata and the sol i recently lowered it on some lowering springs and picked up drilled and slotted rotors for it but im stuck on what rims would look good
What did you go with?

Rubbing?
Happy?
Other coilover setup you'd think if you did over.
Thinking Truhart with 15x8 30 offset. Probably on q9t t0 R15's.

@Captain Mike K skunk 2 coil overs. 15 x 9 wheels don't remember offset or tires but minimal rubbing
Is it worth it getting a del sol as a first car nowadays?? Its an option for me.. this and a miata
Bought one as my first car runs and drives great handles great after a lowering kit endless mods but it also depends if you like fwd or Rwd
I have a 91 Miata NA and a 95 Delsol. Drive the delsol with stock rims and studded winter tires in all sorts of snow and ice and FWD does good. UT it feels light and can get squirrely on highway.
Thinking maybe truharts for Delsol with 15x8 30 offset rims that will fit both cars and a 195 50 r 15. Doing aluminum rear LCA, front LCA and upper control arm with adjustment.

My Del Sol has r15 with 195/50 tire, its on stock suspension and there is no rubbing, would it be the same if I put other r15 rims with the same tire?

Yes! Some people do remove the inner liners though!

Probably, don’t know how good it would look tho lol
theres no way the black del sol with 17's is on stock suspension, same size as mine and i had a huge wheel gap on the rear....

@@emmanuellrodriguez4986 its got p205/45 r17's on it now, i have ran 205 50's but they were just too big for what i was looking for. hope this helps
@@emmanuellrodriguez4986 also, mine has about the same fender gap as the black sol, and its on coil overs, lowered about 2 to 2.5 inches lower than stock. not sure on the offset as i got the wheels second hand, about the same offset as stock wheels i guess

@Captain Mike K went with tein basics and some rep wheels, only had a +25 offset as the 30 rubbed and I don't want to roll my fenders.
