Great to see a built del sol. I have just started modding my 95 SI and I've got coilovers, wheels, did a DIY wrap, and did a full engine refresh with headgasket and aftermarket oil and water pumps. About to start getting parts for the manual swap. Such a fun car.
AJ seems like he'd be a right laugh to be around, he's has a dmo vibe about him lol. Loved this race tho, bun the dsgs and semi autos this is where its at!!! Edit - its nice to see someone rev control their launch a little rather then just launch control and let the car do the work!

I’m impressed with how well both engines are tuned. They both put power down progressively with no huge spikes in power that cause excessive wheel spin.
I like the cars they've put together, lots of power for not too much money and genuinely they are full of character and wasn't expecting crazy times being they are FWD Honda's but I was surprised because I thought both would go much faster. 500bhp/950kg and 0-60 in 5.14's and 1/4 in 12.4's. I genuinely thought that car was going to go quicker in the 1/4 with the setup, wheels/tires combo although it's always the launch that holds these cars back in their 1/4 times. I wonder if a Syvecs could help them go faster? - Great content as ever Jamie, thank you!
Most powerful Fwd cars will do 0-100 in around the 5 second range, they simply can't get the traction on launch. Also these engines make a lot of power but they are also very peaky, they only really make a lot of power and torque high in the rev range.

These cars would excel in 100-200kmh times, fwd cars can do silly times but usually at prepped strip not on tarmac like the video..
