When I do my reaction videos I don't press pause because I don't want to interrupt the natural flow of the music as it was originally intended by the artist. I try to vocalise my thoughts in real time as I listen to the song, and then summarise my reaction afterwards.

I was going through a 'Kashmir' phase a few weeks ago - did the original, a few covers (including the obligatory orchestral version), then this. And it stopped me in my tracks. This was my introduction to Marcin. Must have played it a dozen times trying to work out how he was cheating because it was so unreal. Jeez, what a talent!

Fun fact: the music is from exactly this video, all done in one shot. He had to repeat it 14 times IIRC to get flawless version :)
I’ve noticed that reactors that aren’t as good as the artists they react to, tend to say “oh it was sung/played/performed in the studio beforehand, they were lip syncing/shadow playing/miming” etc, because they couldn’t do it live. They’ve said it with Marcin, with REN and Dimash. They can’t seem to admit that some people are just this bloody brilliant and the sound CAN be reproduced/recorded/performed live! And I’m not just commenting on this reactor, there are several who’ve made similar comments about it not being a live performance. Yah boo sucks, is all I can say.

I went to Marcin’s live performance (concerts in Poland) and he was tuning his guitar for the next song while talking, that was truly amazing
Thank you for reacting to Marcin again. I really loved your first reaction to him and hoped you would do more. One of the things you touched on here is how Marcin is not only incredible to listen to but his performances are also visually captivating. He’s not just a phenomenal player but also an incredible performer.
You also mentioned that this was recorded first and he played to the recording in order to get good sound because he’s moving around so much. This is true because that’s how official videos are made but it’s not like he’s exaggerating his movements for the camera. This is how he performs all the time. I’ve seen videos of his live concert performances and I also belong to his Patreon where he does livestreams every month. I’ve never seen a guitarist move around so much when they’re playing, especially while they’re playing such incredibly difficult techniques. In fact, he said he needs to move around in order to play well. When he first started doing his livestreams he would sit down, but he said it was so much harder for him to play like that because he needs to stand up and move around. There truly is no one who plays like him. He also did all the production of the backing track himself.
He’s absolutely brilliant. I look forward to more of your reactions to Marcin. I would encourage you to dive into some of his classical performances😊

I can imagine tuning in this version of 'Kashmir' on the car radio back in the day ... and thinking my god who's replaced Page? Yeah, Steve, sometimes it has to be said how music videos are made. Thank you for this reaction video. Marcin's playing and videos are truly "bad ass".
That was absolutely insane, far out man.
I would love to study that musical brain of his. The way he is able to deconstruct a song and rebuild it like this is absolutely bonkers! Like you, I’m also impressed by his precision (jumping around on the high frets, walking whilst playing, detuning/tuning up again). He’s an absolute phenomenon. I’m not even sure any other guitarist can compare to be honest.
We are so lucky to be living in an age where we can access and showcase talent from around the world. It’s people like you Steve that have the capacity and the knowledge to comment on true musicianship and make all genres of music accessible to the general public. I don’t think I would have come across most of the stuff I’ve been listening to this past year if it weren’t for you. 😊

All jokes aside, the only knock I have on this guy (if there is one) is at times his percussion gets a bit much for my taste. All the knocking and scratching could be scaled back just a little so that it doesn't take away from the brilliant fret board work, but that's just me being really picky I guess. The talent is undeniable. And Jesus Christ that 6 fret stretch! Wow.
Lol ... i started listening to Marcin ever since i seen him on America Gots Talent his audition 2019 or 2020 when he just graduated and got accepted to college in America .. i think hes polish ... but he blows my mind ever since .. he is great ... made me want to learn guitar 😄😄 bought my first Classic aucostic guitar last year

This was impressive! The percussive elements on the guitar remind me of Rodrigo y Gabriella (I definitely recommend you check them out) but there's only one of him!

Another commenter below mentioned his explanation on the arrangement so I watched it to see if he explained that one fast lick where he went to the headstock. I think you even said wtf was that. He chimes the 12th then bends the neck at the headstock to create that effect. Then he chokes it out really quickly to obviously move on to the other 800 licks he's gotta play. Dude is freaky good man.
