Louis A I see it as a 40$ company without hype but it definitely will go for more then that due to the expected growth and due to it being essentially a technology based trucking company providing technical solutions .
80$ /100$ easy can see as so many people see the vision of what they will be like in the near future even if they never become anything like Tesla in terms of diversity of products what they offer is long term game changing and there is enough space for Hylion and Tesla and a few others in the market.
Tesla could also try to buy them
Out possibly in future we never know.

I like to invest in long standing, proven companies that I can set and forget my investments very long term approach. And I tend to prefer investing in the overall market index. But that doesn’t stop me from looking into any and all oppportunities
Hi Dan. May I ask you a question about Hyliion? So will SHLL becomes HYLI by end of Sep? Then by that time, what would happen to existing shareholders of SHLL? Would they receive an option to buy the HYLI and their SHLL becomes void by end of Sep? Or would such transition is transparent to existing shareholders of SHLL which means 1 share of SHLL would be converted into 1 share of HYLI by the end of Sep? Thanks!

The Hyliion truck can drive across country because re-fueling is quick with LNG. Tesla has long charging cycles to recharge the huge truck batteries so you have to park for hours.

The financial benefit is only 6% over the period of 7 years for the retrofit. The problem is there are only 729 filling stations in the entire country. Not sure the truck drivers would think it is worth it. With all that said I will invest because I think the price of the stock will go up. It will take a huge amount of $ to actually build their own truck. Much more than the 500 million they have on hand.
Something to note is that the truck can drive 1300 miles before needing a refill. So the 729 stations will suit many truckers’ needs. Also, as infrastructure grows, it will become more and more accessible. As for the expenses, that’s why they need to build those relationships early to bring in steady profits before truck production. I believe the sales will take care* of themselves
The secret is major trucking companies dont keep there trucks longer than 3yrs. So if the truck isn't cheaper than a conventional truck dont expect a lot of demand for these trucks
Heard so much good this past week. Bought a little over five shares today, a week after videos like this. I buy at 26.08 in morning thought id see it grow. NO. Not today. I watched as it went from 26.08 to close to now(as i write) 22.87. $16ish on my day 1 loss. Sux for my rough start but im in for the long haul.
You said it best at the end there. The short term fluctuations are impossible to predict. If you believe in them long term, then the short term doesn’t really matter. I hope it goes well for you!
I have 400 shares in this company and plan to hold for some time. Bought 200 at $17 and sold at $32 and bought 400 at $26 so averages out inc original purchase and rebuy at about $21 a share tbh am 99% certain it will go up far beyond that based on there business model and offer/ invocation and prepared to take the small risk something goes wrong based on the longterm potential gains of the company.
It sounds like you have already done quite well James, which is great. I agree, the small risk is well worth the potential gain if you can afford to lose that money. Could be onto a real winner, time will tell
This video has same problem as many other UT videos: I can read all that from the Hyliion's web site and white papers. What we really need to know what Hylioon doesn't say, e.g. go through SEC filings and financials. Maybe read all the two to four star reviews from the Glassdoor, get interview from one of the customers (NDA?). Maybe get some of the heavy duty truck manufactures tell how retrofitting electric motors and batteries effect maintenance and warranty?

any major advantages (range, load capacity, TCO, etc.) compared to existing and future CNG trucks?
It’s hard for me to accurately compare to future cng trucks because I can’t and haven’t analysed them all, but the chart they released (i went over it in the video) suggests that they are comparable or better in these categories than what’s out there

That is the info I went off when researching, I haven’t seen anything comparing to other CNG vehicles
California is mandating low emissions in five years. This is a solution to retrofit existing trucks without buying all new trucks.

I'm in at 27 and adding more. There business model is really good instantly saving companies money. I hope they upgrade tons of fleets worldwide, and then those same fleets purchase the semi coming out in 2022.
SMFG is Japan's 2nd largest bank and they are invested already into HYLL. This looking like a global success!!
If they can have success with their powertrains, hopefully truck sales comes next for those same companies. Huge potential!

One thing I would like to mention is that alot states like Ca and port of Seattle are mandating greener rigs and they have given grants to those who upgraded their trucks and Hylion is the cheaper way to go

Workhorse or SHLL? Which is better in near future not in long term?
Oh boy, that’s so hard to say. Short term, if workhorse land the deal, then WKHS. But I have no idea! I never try to pick short term, that’s not how I like to invest, but I think that deal will be the decider
Dansplained I like to keep it long as well. But just in case when the whole market shake off, then I have to make a short to reduce the loss. I think EV is faster to develop as the industry is already existing and running. Thank you for your reply.

I believe that’s unlikely as one of the management team from Hyliion worked at Dana for many years. I would say his relationship with Dana will hold Dana and Hyliion in good stead, long term

Hi Tubarao, I believe I saw that it was $39k, but I couldn’t find a cost when I looked back quickly now. The price of gas I put a graphic in the back portion of the video, I believe when talking about the ERX - I hope it helps. I can appreciate your concerns too. At the moment they are mostly claims, so we can only go off what we are being told and use our best judgement. Thanks for tuning in!

Not if you believe they will be as good as they are claiming to be. Potential is through the roof, so if you believe it will be a success story, then I’d say no. But in the short term it is hard to predict
How can you only mention positive thing and say ur not investing. At least a couple of % should be invested in this.
Hey mate, that’s fair, but I don’t want to only do videos for you guys if I’m going to invest. My goal is to help everyone with their investments and opportunities. I don’t want to disqualify anything. And equally, if I thought a company was a bad investment, I would happily say that too. I’m just here to empower people and give them options that may or may not suit them, not just what suits me. I hope that clears it up
