You and Zac Fowler got me hooked.
Love the hobby now.
Haven't shot in ages but this chat is giving me the itch. I can feel myself about to get right back into it
"Now you can understand the fox in the chicken coup" ....exactly! Good video lads. Shooting just over a year and half now. Ballymena 👍
took an actual search to find this one n a fair amount of scrolling... but this was a good one...
I really enjoyed this one. Going to watch your other one now. Keep them coming.
Thanks for sharing!
Great to hear your progression.
I started watching Dgui’s videos. Used marbles and #32 rubber band chains to start.
It’s been a long road!
Dudes this was awesome! My request, more please!
Enjoyed watching those two videos chris definitely a good watch and as ever some great tips and a insight into the background story
Great video folks lots to learn from them and inspiring. You also got that back drop spot on lol
Can't believe THE WARRENER didn't get a mention. Now he was the first person to make dvds with the gypsy's hunting catapults. They made some brilliant dvds. This was before youtube.
I remember making my own catty using ply and then attaching tubes and I managed to kill one pigeon.
For a topic of discussion: Catapults in the cold
I’m in Ottawa, Canada. Best I’m ever come up with is using chemical hand warmers to keep everything warm.
Great idea, I'm gonna try that too 🤙🤙
"If I would have hit that it would have been f*cked!" had me lol'ing. Just started this series, really enjoying it so far, and I love my Titan Hunter!
Really interesting conversation. I started out with TBG and UniPhoxx after watching Chris review from 2017. But Fowler was the one that got me the idea. I got two Titans which I love but nowadays I fancy making my own ones. My wife keeps saying; they look nice but maybe you can craft something else sometimes...
Thanks for the video Chris I'm looking forward to more videos like this. I'm getting back into catapult When I was little kid back in Arizona on the reservation I used to use it all the time. Thinks to you and gamekeeper John I'm getting back into catapult in a big way. And now it has grown so much bigger and there is much more catapults to use than just across men from daisy from when I was a kid. Again Thank you and keep the videos coming my friend peace be the journey.
Man it's funny I was just thinking to myself. What is going on? I haven't got a notification for a vid from Chris in a long time. I'm going to go and check in. Great vid and chat my friend . I have some catching up to do!
This is quality what a laugh get Paul from Paul’s wild world in the video but yeah this is a laugh of a video like top class
Excellent video lads 👍🏻
Nice chat. Brilliant.
Loved the chat lads. I've always wondered, what's the maximum distance you can accurately shoot the catapult darts. Like into an archery target?
Good to see you again Chris.
Keep em coming Lads.
Be well.
I watched a guy, Tim Hemry, shoot a flipper long draw, hitting it repetitively, and THEN switching hands and not losing any accuracy.
I thought I would try it. I realized real quick how much we forget how awkward it can be in the beginning. I was afraid to let the ball fly for fear of hand or frame hit! Could barely load the pouch with the other hand.
Great vid lads 👍
Good video lads, loads of interesting stuff covered and helps to know the evolution of what went before. I'm new to this sport, so I am benefitimg from the lessons you all learnt. Plus I used catapult carnage videos when I was starting out, so thank you Chris, you're partly to blame for my addiction! ;)
Welcome aboard!
Love the patter lads, can't beat the tales of the first pigeon
Many more tales to come
Heck yeah Chris! Keep it up, I could listen to this sort of stuff all day especially the hunting stories. I started off and have stuck with ~8.5mm (.33") lead because I have the tools and supplies to cast them up by the thousands! Seems like a good balance between weight and speed. Only downfall I guess is the environmental factor but I keep telling myself that lead comes from the ground anyway! Happy shooting guys and hope to see lots more this year!
Good stuff crissy boy🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Top class vid, Chris and really interesting natter - both you and Ken got me onto 8mm Steel and I've never looked back. Please give Big Ken my regards as he's a top fella 👍
Alright lad glad you liked the vid and great to here from ya, keep er lit 🔥🔥🤙🤙
Will do. Glad you enjoyed it buddy
@pocketpredator- - - - no body can touch Bill H.!! He is the master of masters!!
love the tube talk and the history. Now I don't feel like I got into it all that late. PS love the B.H. mini Taurus, dbl looped tube shooter. IT's so amazing he actually made it a flat band shooter out of this frame also. Bill H - the king and OG of the match light.
Without doubt one of the og's and a sniper too big props to bill 🎯🎯🤙🤙
Thanks guys great info .I’m hooked on ma catapults aswell
Our pleasure!
Awesome video. Definitely love hearing your experience on catapults and the history on your end. It hasn’t picked up as much in the states as it has there . But thank you for all your videos I have learned a lot ever the years from you and has made me a better shot not just with the catapult but with aiming in general because it carries over to other things.
great chat guys really good.
the ' woke ammo ' comment btw 😂😂 brilliant
Great vedio lads I remember that shot on the rabbit straight through its nut cris you got 2 with a asa raptor and I still carnt find that vedio look forward to next 1 take easy
Enjoyed that lads, look forward to more, love my cattys now, been shooting just over a year and can honestly say it's addictive, bought a titan large ott, love it, and my freezer is filling, atb lads 😉🤟
liking this pal,a good watch.
imo the whole catapult scene in uk and Europe completey changed and went up a gear after the 1st worldcup in Italy. It changed the game completely . Anyone who was wise enough to listen and learn soon switched to smaller bands and ammo sizes and soon benefited. Amazing to see where the game is at now, growing daily.
Fairplay for your input also you play apart in many shooters knowledge too
keep em coming pal
Thanks Ben. We could spend all day talking about Italy
Excellent video! 👍 I look forward to the next.
Thanks! 👍
Enjoyed this chat.. Thanks very much.
Our pleasure!
Choice style of video!
Hey guys, I love the video. I got a question that you can probably answer. After watching this I want to get a couple of the precise brand pre-made bands to try (I'm currently shooting theraband) but I'm not sure what thickness and length to try. I'm shooting 7/16" steel (I think that's 11mm) and my draw length is about 29" on one of the medium Titanhunter OTT frames. Any suggestions? Thank you!
Anything at 1mm will do the job tbh
Loved the video Chris👍
Glad you enjoyed it
hello friend you have great catapults👍
Yes, thanks
really enjoyed listening to you both yammer on about your journeys into the catapult world etc , good vid dude
More to come!
👍
Wonderful conversation! Appreciate ya putting it out! Thank you both.
"if I'd of hit that it'd be fucked" 😂😅😂lmao
👨🎓👨🎓
Chris, Finally you are back..Great. Question for you Chris. How do you get over the release flinch. I am still having trouble with it, Jack
czcams.com/users/shortstpRtC6Sw04k?feature=share Fix your flinch @CanVandal
Shoot into N empty catch box no spinner etc and just concentrate on release and not hitting a target
Chris you look about my size anychance I could get 3 of your band sets with your taper?
Long shot I know❤
8mm steel is more woke than Emmerdale farm 💥🍻
They should call it Crucifix instead of butterfly.
Great video mate
