CBBC Presenter in the making!
I can imagine him marrying Charlie Brooker.
HAHA totally
So glad to see Oscars journey as we did with Adam with Nick and James with Chris. Great for the young apprentices. Cory is the nicest trainer possible.
Corey’s humour is quality!! Bet he’s a right laugh on the job! Keep the vids coming great work 👍👍
Thanks
I love the humour in your videos 🤣.... its shows honesty and humbleness. Keep up the good work
I think it official Cory is clinically insane !!!!!
Love the idea of the trip around Europe when Corna crazy finishes, doubt Jordan will give you guys the time off though
Cory could literally be the David Attenborough or Bob Ross of electrical videos. Cory seems like he'd actually be quite good college teacher.
Please, when you can, make some more videos like this. Learned a LOT
Loved the vid Cory and Oscar. The Wombles bit made me chuckle.
Brilliant video as usual lads and i enjoy the light hearted attitude.
Cory your SOH is priceless, though only in small doses like a good wine. Love you guys Keep safe
Just gets funnier each video! Love the idea of you guys doing a European road trip, you definitely need to aim for that!
👏
Haha love the intro Cory loved the video haven’t laughed so much hahaha
😂👍
So funny, love to see Oscar learning how to do the connections
That's an Oscar winning performance Corey. See what I did there 😁
Haha 😆
Hi, enjoy your videos very much I started as an apprentice electrician in Liverpool in 1963 spent the last 41years in Canada just retired 2 years ago, love your videos
God Bless
Ralph
6:22 Oscar, sorry Pablo found your explanation really interesting 😆😆😆
Very well explained 👏. Great relaxing and easy to understand with a bit of comedy. Well done mate!!!!
Glad you enjoyed it
I never knew that someone can make electrical work interesting and funny at the same time good work cory amd oscar
He’s a star!
Class videos Cory, the apprentice has the best teacher 👏
Yeah. I wanna see some more Cambridgeshire dirt. Cheers lads
really wish there where apprenticeships for me coming out of school, I would have loved working with Cory, it would have been a blast.
Still thinking of a career change to a sparky even though I'm in my early 30's
Never too late
Your relaxed teaching style is great and helps your apprentice. 👍
Glad to hear that!
Really great screen presence, really funny but also really Knowledgeable. Awesome video!
Thnks!
I enjoy Cory’s humor reminds of a guy I apprenticed with many years ago
really really good video guys. good walk through everything. keep them coming.
Great installation, very high standard of work, an excellent collaboration 😃👌👏👏👏👏❤️
Thank you 👍
Cory just funny to listen too great vid guys
I'm glad to see they are being thorough.. hahahah lmao :) great stuff guys
Cory you should have put viewers back into the van, in the end, would be an awesome finishing.
Haha good shout
Looking nice! Nice bit of comedy and serious work! Loving the vids!
Thanks!
This was worth it for corys humour alone
Got to agree there a David Savery in the making without the alcohol.
@@anthonybragg i second that
Another great video, and great humour just love it 👊🏼
Thnks
I bet you a lot of people view these videos for the Cory's and Oscar's sense of humour... Great video from a non Electrician point of view who just loves all things technical... Keep it going...
Thanks!
16:48 CUT!!! We can edit that bit out, can't we? 😆😆😆
Hilarious video, gotta say both Jordan and cory are funny great channel 👏
Yep another good video thanks lads
Great job, guys 😎
Thanks
Maybe give Oscar a few ‘boards and breakers home with cable to practice wiring up in his own time?
Good idea
He seams to be nearly there. I guess he could have a play with some old tails though
@@artisanelectrics Yes Good idea! Try that.. Cheer!
Love the video
I hope Cory is getting extra money for all these videos he is on hahaha. Great work guys!
He definitely is!
MORE OF THESE VIDEOS PLEASE!!!!
Thanks! More to come!
Such a great video by Batman and the boy wonder Robin !
Haha thanks
Well done ladz!! Great work and very entertaining! Corey looks like (apart from the different hair colour) Leon from Casualty (Bobby Lockwood) and everytime I see Leon i shout "Corey!!" And vice versa) 😂
😂👍
Isn’t that how condensation gets into elec boxes, by having conduit ? Edit: He siliconed at the end 👍🏻
Cory cracks me up "lightly grazed"
🤣
Really enjoying your videos nice one
Thanks
Weighted blankets rule! 👍🏼
If it weren't for the uniforms I'd mistake this for a comedy show.
Electrics are pretty boring so we try to add some humour to spice it up a bit LOL
Good video Guys. Thanks for clarifying the Abbreviations and terms at rhe begining. Good drilling technique Oscar , keeping the drill at right angle to the work. Cory, sneakers, really? I cant believe that the buss bar is only supported by the load side screw on the disconnect and branch circiut breakers and is exposed even with the lower safety cover or dead front off.
Why do your consumer units have to be so small? All that exposed Wiring !!!!! ???
I enjoy your videos very much and your willing ness to share your knowledge and best practices in this great trade. It is great to see how this trade is performed in different part of the world.
With classroom training being unavailable at the moment. Oscar will need to know the Why !! As in Theory. I think that future vlogs could have you do that. In that a lesson thought is twice learned.
Every success in your endevours . looking forward to that European road trip edition.
Thanks!
Another top episode with “the savages” 👌👍 can Jordan please sort out cable rollers for the couple maybe a nice Runpotec X board sure “Bundy10” works 😁😂
Thanks will do!
The Cory humour half hour keep it up
Haha glad you like it!
Love the barely hidden yawn from the apprentice at 4.50, Epic
Electricity comes from? Magic!
Cory had me cracked up 🤣 Perfect mix of laughs and info. Apart from the regular EIC, do you give the customer a EV Charger Unit specific cert? If so where can I find a template?
Thanks glad you enjoyed it! We just issue an EIC and Building Regs certificate
good work Oscar well done , and Cory its not just any Cambridge dirt its artisan dirt
Haha
Oscar is on the job training , is coming along well , when he starts collage , he will understand , when he starts training in , booth wiring to a consumer unit is different , than in a house .
Cory should do all the videos lol
Have you got a link for the led torch plz ?
Brilliant. My favourite boys. Yes, I don’t much like those muscly skinny electricians either. You’re just right
Absolutely
A sheep...lightly "grazed" you? Cory...you are so baaaaaaaaaaaad!!
Oscar is learning right quick!
🤣
Why not use a compression gland for the back of the Zappi?
I was wondering the same!
Hi guys, we have a 3kw Podpoint for our old Nissan Leaf. We’re considering buying an ID4 as well - what setup would you recommend for charging two cars? Thanks.
0:57 Keep those hager points coming 😎
I was 🤭with all that earthing talk
With Cory's voice at that introduction, he should be reading audio books or possibly the next David Attenborough
🤣👍
With the zappi you dont need a earth rod if you have tncs?
Would an A type mcb be ok so you dont have to drive an earth rod into ground if your using say a ROLEC ev charger?
Yea correct and no as rolec don’t have built in pen fault detection
Forward to 6.20 and your see what Oscar thinks of your waffle 😂
Yawn
Where's the Amazon link for Cambridgeshire dirt please? Brilliant humour again.
😂👍
Cory how Albania came in your mind I'm interested to know pls. Keep it up.
LOL!!! Give me some for lunch.. Yummy..... Also no play the game on his phone.. Tsk Tsk...... ha ha Great team! Thumb up! Cheer!
Thanks John!
@@artisanelectrics Welcome best!
16:13 oh yeah the Wombles 😆
You need to take your day time exercise
Can you confirm what the name was of the clips you're using for this cable. Also are they suitable externally? What size cable they suitable for?
Tut tut Cory 😂 can’t believe you was putting that in the mcb without doubling it 😱 great video otherwise
🤭
Corey is a funny lad
Yep! 🤩
Get £50 credit when you switch to Octopus Energy share.octopus.energy/zappy-shell-695
At one point I thought you were going to try and swap your Klien VDE drivers with Oscar's Blue Wiha drivers.
🤣
Great video, but doesn’t that big metal box on your drive sit on rubber tyres?
Yes it does, but if you touched it when there was a broken PEN conductor you would have a problem
Yes but you don't have tyres and you wouldn't be in the car when connecting the charging lead, you'll be stood in a potentially very damp environment......not good
Rub your screwdriver bits over your magnetic tray you have. That will help a lot with holding your screws onto the drill bits etc
I don’t know if it’s just me but he reminds me of Richard Ayoade
That’s awesome! Love that guy
A right old smoothie, in my humble opinion, ur mileage may vary.
Can I ask a question about Cory’s back door? Why does one side have a piece of tape across it?
The tape will be revealed in the next episode!
Oscar looked half asleep!!
You cannot have moisture in your back entry, the plastic pipe is a good shout 😎
I don't think I'd want a pipe in my back entry!
You can prevent water ingress, but there's moisture in the air particulary in this country
Tool of the day - Amazon Weighted Blanket amzn.to/2ZJnCya
Bit pricey for me. I prefer my lead painted blankets.
@@mistermyker9994 lol
I prefer my old sheet of plastic lol
Already had one!!
Would you guys drive down to Bournemouth to do an EV install for me? You always put a good finish on things.
I think they may consider Ringwood, But Bournemouth is just that little bit too far. ;-)
It’s a bit far really but we are working on creating a network of Artisan Installers UK wide as we receive lots of enquiries like yours
@@stupot_64 😂 to be fair if it was a bank holiday it would take an extra 3 hours to get from Ringwood to B’mouth
@@intothemultiverse1033 No easy way - A303, Salisbury or the New Forrest are all bad. Stay at home during a bank holiday.
Flashing laser. Does that mean flat battery ?
4:47 long night lad? 😂
What cable are you using ?
I was wondering the same thing, could it be the hight tough ho7 flex.
It’s Tuff Sheath cable from Doncaster Cables
Does Oscar get to see any other type of work or is it just EV chargers at the minute ?
We do quite a variety with him so he gets to see lots of different jobs not just EV
@@artisanelectrics Thats good, you wouldn't want him to get pigeonholed.
Decisions decisions, to watch Cory and Oscar video or Kopex King video first... Sorry Bundy10..... 14:15 Cat Repellent ?
😎 good choice!
Is the cameraman actually Jordan ? or do you guys have your own camera guy
and what veto pro pac bag is that ? like a back pack version ? thanks !!
We have a cameraman now and the Veto that Cory uses is the Tech XL I think
When you come to think about it should a complete installation not have PEN protection at the source of the installation in case of a PEN fault?
It only matters if you could touch something outside which is connected to the PME earthing system and at the same time be making contact with true earth, whilst a PEN fault was present.
Thanks for the explanation.
I am sure that it does matter internally as an exposed conductive part could rise in potential but the guys at the IET are concerned about outdoors, standing on earth that could be wet so the risk is higher. External sockets are also a risk but devices plugged in are likely to be double insulated.
Those 'magical tails' from the equally invisible 'Henley block', they are 100Amps, right ? With no protection except the supply 100A fuse ? And on the wall surface ? Let's hope your axe wielding customer never takes a swing at them. Or slips with his cordless power drill in a moment of emotional instability.
Never seen anyone glue a bush before. EV chargers possibly the next big thing in the industry, but we'll see.
Definitely the next big thing
You are a natural in front of the camera, ever thought of a change in career?
Is Oscar friends with Adam
No they live far away
Oscar should get to bed a little earlier !!
Yep...
#savagesforeurope
😂👍
What about African electrics
Yeah there’s a story for you!
Have eather of you been to Ghana I see they use UK type sockets
:-)
