- In this easy cooking video, I cook a piece of pork loin roast in my Instant Pot electric pressure cooker. I seasoned the pork with kosher salt and Johnny's Seasoned Pepper. Then added some avocado oil to the pot and seared the meat for 5-6 minutes on the medium saute setting. Next, I turned the meat over and sautéed it for about 2-3 minutes before switching to the medium slow cook setting. Then I let the pork loin cook until the internal temperature reached 145 degrees F.

Great job Jim that pork was spot on. Looked great and it was juicy. Annie was even looking around for some more. I like when you have trial and error and you let us know what came out the best. Bless you and annie and have a great day. 👍 keep em coming.

LOL No, she liked it!
You can see that it was very juicy. I really like your instant pot recipes. They are all great.
Thank you!
Oh Jim try slow cooking the rest with onions peppers carrot a can of pineapples chunks with juice and about a cup of bbq sauce or chili sauce.
Thanks! That sounds good!
🙂👍🍺
When you pressure cooked the first piece did you do a natural release or a quick release?
Quick release.
@@TosTinManEasyCooking I’ve always read that meats turn out dry when doing a quick release (that whatever juices might be in the meat escape with the steam from the pressure). If you try it again with the pressure cook setting I’d be interested to hear how a natural release compares with the quick release!
@obrain75 There are 2 schools of thought. One says always do npr. The other says if you've cooked meat or poultry long enough you can qr it without it drying out.

Mighty fine looking pork roast Jim! Looks really juicy. Some mashed taters and carrots would be great! Especially since it’s Annie approved! Cheers.
Thanks! Yeah, it was very juicy!
got mine ready to go rapped in bacon!
Clear lid? I need that!
Yeah, it work great when your not pressure cooking! amzn.to/44Ti044
@@TosTinManEasyCooking Hello! Thank you for the link. When pressure cooking with the Instant Pot, does liquid need to be added?
@@pandarush. Yes you need a little bit of liquid.
Quick release with most items not recommended in my opinion. I know Annie gets impatient ❤
Pork loin is like chicken breast. It dries out if you overcook it.
Someone should start a go fund me so this guy can purchase some cooking utensils so he’s not picking up roasts out of pots with his hands like an animal. I feel sorry for him.
