Just wanted to give my two cents on the no-fault divorce laws: As a New Yorker, it took several years for my parents’ divorce to be finalized. My father was severely abusive, like way more intense than what has come out about Crowder and often put all of our lives in danger, and it still took years for him to sign the papers. Also, keep in mind the abuse wasn’t swept under the rug-we had many run ins with the police and we were in family court for years, so all of this was documented. Not only did the divorce take forever, but it was mandated that the children, who he’d abuse, had to visit him every single weekend or our mom would be punished by the courts. So while they lived separate lives for years, my mom was still legally tied to him due to pure spite on his part. The system isn’t meant to protect women and children from their abusers and I am so happy Hilary was able to make a relatively clean break.

I found out who Dad was through this show, since he would always comment and you guys would read his comments. As a friend of the show I subbed to him even tho I don't find his videos entertaining. I think you guys gave him a lot of exposure, idk why he feels entitled to more.
As for the trash talk leading up to the fight, I don't think anyone ever saw it as real instigation of hate. I've always seen love and support for him here, and even after the fight vast majority of comments were showing him mad respect for winning vs AB.
I love that Sam Seder pointed out the way Crowder breaths when he's nervous. Once you notice it you can hear when he's scared and insecure, and to see him that way always makes my day.

i've always felt like dad was trying too hard to insert himself and establish himself as a character in the show and it was kinda obvious that they weren't interested in that, maybe even a little bit annoyed at times (which is 100% fair) and now he's mad that they're not bending over backwards to have him on the show and that AB walked out with more sympathy and subscribers than he did. it's always kinda looked desperate to me and i don't blame the crew for probably sensing it and not giving into it too much.

I think the issue with Ethan and Dad is very similar to what happened with Nikocado. Ethan's jokes are sometimes harsh and can really hit something that someone is insecure about so even though it's a bit, when he keeps repeating that he has nothing going on in his life can probably feel like maybe a step too far. But I couldn't believe what I was hearing when Dad went in on AB. AB already felt so horrible about how fast the fight ended and to just twist the knife. Dad was part of the family, wow...

The whole dad thing is so bizarre. I don't really go on the reddit so it took me a while to realize you guys were serious and it wasn't a bit. And honestly this whole time I thought the chair thing was a bit too, including Dad being "insulted" about you guys being "mean" about it. I had no idea he was serious until today LOL. I hope he's just acting but from what I learned about Dad in the past he seems to have gone through a lot so that would explain the hyper sensitivity and whatever may be going on in his head. Dad did a 180 on a chair thing multiple times. First he was in on it, then he said h3 were mean to him about it, then he started saying that him being upset was a joke, now it seems it wasn't. I understand Dad went through some tough shit, but it doesn't give him the right to play the victim at the expense of others.

I really like Dad's ARG/unfiction story he is (was?) working on so I'm a little bummed about this coming out. It almost seems like he's been going through some mental health episodes. It's kind of difficult to tell when something isn't a bit when a person on one side of the drama's entire career is based around doing a bit. Nathan is a professional. He has worked with everyone else and been on youtube longer than h3. Ive never heard anything bad. I think he was just upset they didnt seem to want to collaborate with him which was strange because the Dad channel was so sucessful. As a fan of Nathan it was noticable and the chair bit turned out very awkward. I was expecting the entire time for him to show up and just assumed it was on his end because he had moved out of their area but they said he even came to the studio at least once off camera. He also seemed very eager to be on the show for how often he showed up in the chat and it seemed like he had to force himself into call ins. It sounds like the only time they reached out to him to be on the show was after the fight ended after they had so many months to work with him. Ethan also said it himself that they were reluctant to work with him after the chair bit failed.
