I have to admit that Gamefreak has suceeded in making certain fights actually feel like Boss fights in recent generations. These ideas would be one hell of a time.
You know it’s an amazing boss if you get ptsd years on from them [I still hear the organ I see the light oh god the ligh-]

Yep. The Starmobiles, Ogerpon, Bloodmoon Ursaluna... Even Ultra-Necorzma and Eternatus Eternamax to a lesser extent. Not to mention all bossfights from Legend Arceus.
The moment I would fight the second phase of these bosses I would instantly get PTSD from Ultra necrozma
Bintattery seems like a reverse Slaking
1st evo is always excited, reversing Slakoth's tendency to well, slack off-
2nd evo is tired, reversing Vigoroth's vigor
And the Spearized form is excited again, reversing Slaking's tendency to slack off returning
I can see these two having some type of rivalry or something with this connection!
Or a simbiosis considering they are opposites bintattery protectin slackot and vigoroth returning the favor
Now THIS is what I want to see the Pokemon Franchise do in future games.
I mean we're literally slowly starting too, since SM
NGL, I'd prefer if they stopped making weird battle gimmicks each generation. It stops being exciting and surprising to become repetitive and it takes time and resources from the development that they don't exactly have to spare, given the deadlines they work with.

@@user-cr5pk6ic3k It was exciting when they first introduced mega evolutions, but now having a new one each gen feels like they're just filling a checkbox. And there's no much more they can do before they start feeling like copies of each other (they have already played with stats, moves, abilities and types, the only thing left without touching I can think of is some kind of weather or field).
Fifth gen is probably the best one of the saga and it had no special gimmick whatsoever. It's about making a good and polished game with neat characters and locations to discover, not about creating some eye-catching mechanic to be the focus of the game and then disappear.
I think that you should make panghoul a split evo. The first being pangrudge. And the other being another evo where panghoul has to have max friendship.

To add to the theme for Pangrudge, it would be cool if after you defeat it and return to the start of the area, an NPC gives you a Panghost egg

I like my ghost types to be less of just ghosts (dusknoir, Gengar, good pokemon, but theyve never been my favorites) but more animalistic or object based (Houndstone, Dragapult, Decidueye, Basculegion, Palossand, Litwick, the list goes on). Pangrudge is one of the best examples i've seen of a ghost pokemon ever.
It is definitely one of my favorites of the region!

in my opinion caffeinism might be an op ability if it also absorbs stat drops as it would allow pokemon without contrary to spam moves like draco meteor
i agree with this but in a way that i’m on board with (not saying you aren’t, can’t tell from your original comment) a neat play ive seen is people using intimidate pokémon alongside neutralizing gas weezing, your intimidate mon gets sent out first and gets the attack drop, weezing comes out to nullify abilities, then when weezing goes off the field intimidate procs a second time without needing to switch out your intimidate mon, which i find reaaally gimmicky and fun so that’s why i personally like the sound of bintattery’s ability

Late comment, but for Mastick (which I love) the tail actually resembles a morning star, as is the reference picture you used. Morning stars differ from maces by having those spikes.
A mace may have a “ribbed” sort of shape, but don’t traditionally have spikes. Morning stars are called that because the spikes are reminiscent of stars.
Flails are often mistaken for morning stars. But a flail consists of a handle, chain, and something at the end of the chain that inflicts damage.
Unfortunately, these three have become super mixed up in pop culture and most people call all of them mace or morning star. Sometimes interchangeably.
I love the spirize phenomenon and there gimmick of 1 color and white,I also love the fact of strong and weak to all types

I love that one of my favorite animals was made known by people because of one of my favorite fakemon creators
I absolutely love how Panghost's line's ghostly scales could also mirror ancient Chinese practices of burning tortoise shells for fortune or for telling the future, works very well with the typing and design concept!
i also have a ghost fakemon based on pangolins that’s a regional sandshrew line, and seeing you have one too is awesome. pangolins are my favorite animals, and seeing what poachers do to them breaks my heart. the pangolin awareness is great work, especially to such a big audience. great video! save the pangolins!! ❤️❤️
You can try to make a boss or pseudolegendary pokemon based on Varaha and Narsimha. Both would have cool designs

My team as of now would be Thothorn, Wrestlangur, Ghargoyle, Dehvaran Breloom, Pangrudge, and Bintattery
Civolt and Bintattery are some of my favorite Fakémon ever. I know I’m biased because it’s both my favorite types and I really like civets and binturongs but still, the concept and design of both are just so good. Keep up the great work!

Ok this is my favorite Fakemon group of all time, they’re so in depth and some of them are SO FRICKING CUTE. I’d use most of these in a playthrough. Only problem I have with these is the Steel type overlap

electric was the first type i specialized in, and i LOVE bitattery! and as an anklyosaurus fan, I love masticks! i can't see myself as ever being able to evolve a pangrudge, but i like the idea of finding one in the wild and changing its mind about humans

3:26 this can become a Special Swords Dance with a Speed buff with the right berry… scary, if not for the fact it’s only +2 the first time, but still menacing.
I think Bintattery is my favourite fakemon you and your team have created, both design-wise and in general concept. The toe-beans are especially clever, and its Spirise form is a fantastic full-circle delivery on Civolt's premise!

The panghost line is one that i absolutly love! Not only are pangolins one of my favorite animals (they looks so cool and cute imo) the ghost typing is my favorite aswell! The lore behind it is amazing too! I didnt even know they were trafficked, i feel so bad. Even tho i dont enjoy the spearrisen form design, i like the lore behind it. Dont get me wrong, the artist did an amazing job, i just dislike the slimey look. I wish the pokemon was real, probably would be one of my top 3 favorites. Huge props to you and the artist

The little ovals on terrabears claws remimd me of those, perhaps like those you might find on a bear claw pastry? I doubt its intentional at all but it looks cool and terrabear is definitely my favorite 😅

Awesome video! I love all of these designs and your Spirisen mimic. Although, I am not sure I like the idea of Panghoul's evolution. It is certainly unique, of course. But, I don't like the idea of trainers purposely mistreating their Panghoul to lower their friendship level. For example, purposely causing them to faint, just seems like a bad message. Other than that, these are an amazing batch of new pokemon, can't wait to see what other ideas you have for your region.

Hey man, great video! I especially loved Mastick and Ghargoyle! I love Ghars, they’re so cool so it’s very nice to see them as a Pokémon mixed with a fictional creature I adore, that being gargoyles. On another note, have you ever thought of doing an Urshifu of every type? I think it’d be pretty cool! I’ve written some descriptions for some myself, but I don’t really draw.
I have thought about it but wouldn’t make for a terribly long video! Maybe a short some day!
That’s fair! I’d still love to see it, I think a bunch of fighting archetypes could play into it along with martial arts.
I like the rotom bike, but I would like to be able to choose any Pokémon for the swimming, climbing, flying and walking functions. yes, I know that this would break the exploration gameplay (which could be fixed by providing a equipment along with the motorcycle improvements to be able to ride any Pokemon, with the excuse that it is an option in case the bike breaks down)

I ADORE the Pangrudge line. I’d say I’d use it on my team, but I don’t think I’d have the heart to bring one to minimum happiness. Perhaps I’d catch one in a raid (assuming those would exist) to use!
(Also, evolving something at absolute minimum friendship might be actually impossible- Pokémon gain friendship when leveling up.)

Im in love with the Panghost line 🥹 I would 100% have one on my team, I love that it’s one of those Pokémon whose sad and weak at the begin of its stage and then at its final stage turns into a total bad ass! Also I love this way of boss battle Pokémon, they’re all so unique with the spirize forms! (Unlike the Titan Pokémon who just had a aura)

One small thing I would have liked S/V to have done was have a new trainer in the School torament who has the Titian Pokemon as their team. I feel like a trainer that does the same here would be cool.
