Add the heavier buffer, it’ll slow down the fire rate, and the trigger won’t get out ran. Just grab an h1, h2 and h3 and find the one that works, you’ll end up using the other ones for other builds you already got, or need them eventually

Yea fam try strike industries buffer system it comes with various weights to set it at h1, h2 or h3 depending on your setup

You might want to check your bolt carrier group, clean it, check the firing pin and spring, too.

This is similar to my arp problem, everything work fine except when I shoot it -it shoots one then I gotta rack it to shoot again. Does that mean I need a heavier buffer tube (10.5 inch arp)
This is perfect. I currently have 3 binary guns. 2 of the 3 are perfect and fire as fast as I pull. My new one seems like it fires slower than the other 2 binaries I own. I have not had any misfires or anything like that, I just felt like the gun wasn't cycling as fast as it should be. I was wondering if a heavier buffer would fix this, so please update us on how you fixed this.

Bro Jay is right, the 30-06 rounds were for hunting game, and if i can add my 2 cents, in my experience the elevation and windage for the scope are not going to need to be twisted so much if you are not shoot over 500 yards or so- DONT QUOTE ME ON THAT! but i grew up shooting hunting rifles and standard scopes like 3x9x40mm's.. so in my mind its good if you are hitting paper, that tells me you should go a few clicks at a time. you know so you are not wasting that much ammo.. but I just wanted to share Bro i will see you in the next one

Soft tip hunting bullets don't like military style firearms. The soft lead tip usually drags on the feed ramp causing a malfunction. Use FMJ type bullets only

Those 30-06 are for game so jay was right but he was wrong ab the grain, you need to stay with 150 grain ammo on that cartridge bc at 180 grains you’ll get a massive bullet drop.

Not tryna be rude but the svd is chambered in 7.62x54mmr so that could explain the issues with the rounds feeding your using 30-06 maybe check it out I only did a little google search because it didn’t seem right for a svd to be in 30-06

if you want to quickly sight in an eotech go to 7 yards and use the bottom part of the reticle where the circle and peg join. That should get you out to 100 on paper.

I think it’s your trigger cause it’s not leaving a light primer or nothing. I have a few binary’s and 1 frt. had to go with a heavier buffer on all of them cause of light primers. Your firing pin isn’t going off like it should or something I’m not a gun smith tho
