Not only do they have vocals but they have a phenomenal lead vocalist and an equally great backup vocalist to provide harmonies. She's the one on rhythm guitar here. You're going to have to be patient if you want a real glimpse into how good they are because they cross over so many genres that the genres got dizzy trying to figure it out themselves. I recommend don't you tell me official live and endless story official live in that order. Be sure to turn on the subtitles for Endless story. You can also just pick a song at random from their CZcams page and there's a lot of them to choose from. Every song they do is great even how many of them are completely different from any other song. Welcome to the miracle band that is Band-Maid!!!!!

The best rock band on the planet. Any Maids track always ROCKS as they come for your soul. The ladies are in their early 30s now and have been rocking for almost 10 years with plenty of Solo work from Misa and Kanami. The great thing is they always look so happy.
Try Thrill the track that blew them up on the world stage, after a slow start it suddenly went viral outside of Japan (the label was about drop them when this happened in 2015), Freedom, Onset, From now on, Without Holding Back, Hate? Are all great tracks and they have an extensive back catalogue (130+ tracks).
Welcome Masters and Princesses to the 5 Band-Maid members:
SAIKI Atsumi (Sy-i-Key or Psyche) “Ice Queen" - Lead vocals, arrangements and melodies. The youngest, “Sensei” (Teacher) as band members call her, has the last word on many musical decisions.
MIKU Kobato (Me-Ku), "Small Pigeon" - Rhythm guitar, vocals and lyricist. “Koba”, as Saiki calls her, is the Band founder and a firecracker MC & PR Spokes Pigeon. I believe she couldn’t play when she formed the band and was tutored by Kanami.
KANAMI Tono (Ka-Na-Me) “Princess” - Lead guitar, keyboards, is a prolific writer of most Band-Maid material. Kanami (translates “Song Wave”) is a possessed riff-slayer who’s so damn adorable it hurts. The only thing you want is more!
AKANE Hirose (A-Ka-Nay) "Gorilla" - Drums, band energizer & co-clown with MISA. Achi’s talents include massive consumption of noodles and bananas, of course, (even during performance!) rock drumming with relentless drive, dynamics and the kick. This “DrumZilla” is the Party!
MISA (Me-Sa), "Barefoot Assassin" - Bass. An alluring free spirit driving her 5-string to rapturous low-ends while pulling off surprising counter leads with Kanami. Sometimes seen as the Mysterious One because she lets her instrument do the talking, the Assassin literally kills it… every note uniting Band-Maid’s world-class rhythm section. A slug of JB, a slight grin, and let the slappin’ begin… MISA! MISA!
Their Battle Gear as they call it with slight variations are standard maid outfits for Akane, Miku and Akane, a head maids outfit for Saiki and a Ninja maid outfit for Misa.

Welcome to Band-Maid! Wait until you meet Saiki the vocalist! They are best hard rock band I have heard in my 58 years on this planet. They don't stick to any one genre and often mix genres in songs. They are extremely diverse and have an extensive back catalogue featuring Punk, Pop-Punk, Hard-Rock, Classic Rock, Metal, Prog, Blues, Jazz, Groove, Rap etc. From face melting 220 bpm punk-prog to ballads, instrumentals to acoustics they do it all. They can make you headbang, they can make you pogo, they can make you cry like a baby. They are also five of the nicest people in music, without a shred of ego. They are funny and fun and world class musicians to boot. They are currently into their 11th year with the original line up.
Btw, Miku the rhythm guitarist (red rose) formed the band. She had the idea of Band-Maid after working as a maid in Japanese maid cafe's. Her idea is a concept called "The Gap" - that is what you see (cute maids) is NOT what you get (Hard Rock/Punk/Metal). They take the maid café concept literally. They call their concerts "servings" and their fans "Masters and Princesses". Oh, and Miku is an 810 year old small pigeon. Welcome to the pigeon hole Po!

Band-Maid writes a few instrumentals to give their singer a rest during live shows - so you'd find this one normally tucked in the middle of a show. As for their vocalists, the lead vocalist is my fav foreign born rock singer. She has an incredible tone and range and is versatile with her style; she's also magnetic on stage ("Queen" is one of her nicknames lol). They have an incredible backup vocalist who does lead on some songs (also to give their lead singer a rest), but is mainly known for her incredible harmonies and backup melodies. One of the unique things about this band is how tight the friendships are between the members - they grew over the years (lots of struggle early on) into a family of sorts.

Normally this or another instrumental would be mid show with a song sung by Miku (rhythm) which gives Saiki a breather. Saiki is in charge of all setlists which change every show.

Miku (rhythm guitar, main lyrisist and founder of the band) fired herself as the lead singer and gave that role to Saiki. But don't underestimate Miku's on backing vocals. From here, it’s “DICE.” Another official music video. Vocals, hard rock, excellent example of how they arrange their songs with balance.
Please wait for “Hate” until you hear 6-8 songs. “Hate,” while a great performance, is not a good starter for new listeners. If you’re introducing a friend to Korn, for example, you don’t want to skip “Freak on a Leash” for a deep, experimental cut.

Okay, names, pronunciation, nicknames, and roles, in order that they joined the band.
Miku Kobato - mee-koo - Kuruppo, the Little Pigeon, the Little Engine Who Will - band founder, backing (and occasionally lead) vocals, rhythm guitar, principal lyricist, tireless Spokespigeon and PR machine. Wielder of weapons grade cuteness. Poker shark and horse racing fanatic. So determined to see her band succeed that she fired herself as lead singer (she decided her voice wasn't strong enough for hard rock), then went looking for a replacement. Learned to play guitar after the band was formed. Definitely eccentric, possibly insane.
Kanami Tono - kah-nah-mee - Kanamincho or just Mincho - lead guitar, keyboards, principal composer and arranger. On stage, she's a savant mad riffer with a room temperature IQ and a huge crush on Saiki. In reality, she's a genius, and not just musically- she has a degree in economics with honors. A sweet, motherly woman who turns into a beast when you hand her a guitar.
Akane Hirose - ah-kah-neh - A-chan, the Gorilla - drums, sequencing, snacks, the leader the band doesn't have. What you see is what you get- a cheerful jock with a huge appetite who burns off the calories murdering her drums. Completely unflappable. Frequently snacks between songs. Has been known to sign her banana peels and throw them to the audience.
MISA - mee-sah - the Barefoot Assassin, MISA MISA MISA! - bass, booze, occasional wet work. Usually stone faced. Barely acknowledges the audience's existence. Always has a beer or a bottle of Jim Beam on her Orange amp. Originally, these were ways of coping with stage fright. These days, that's just how the assassin rolls.
Saiki Atsumi - sah-ee-kee (but Psyche is close enough) - the Ice Queen, Sensei, Sai-chan - lead vocals, some lyrics, the "We're done" girl. Fashionista and train nerd. Regards her band mates, especially Kanami and Miku, with bemused exasperation. In total command on stage; hides behind Miku off stage (she's actually kind of shy).

    @skrrytch Před měsícem +3

To loosely quote another Maidiac 😅
🎸 Bass solos by Misa are more likely to happen than not. 🥃
🎸 Guitar solos by Kanami are short and crisp
🥁 Akane on drums is 'a beast' 🦍🍌
🕊 Don't underestimate Miku Kobato: She is the founder of the band, bundle of energy, Maid Cafe magician 🪄, is invaluable as a second vocalist.
🎙And there is Saiki: She was the Ice Queen but the Ice Queen has thoroughly thawed 🤣
🎶 More hooks, riffs and motifs in a song than most bands have on a full album.
💃Their LIVE videos are mostly superior to the official studio MVs, but the MVs are also excellent!
🎵 Many songs have catchy phrases or singalong sections to engage the audience. Many songs are in English and Japanese. Most songs are full of joy as well.
🥳 They enjoy performing. They enjoy the fans. They enjoy each other.
I don't know of any other band where the fans' playlists differ so much. So, this is just a quite random selection of songs: For some very special live videos try Freedom, Play, Real existence and Endless Story. With Moratorium (Live at Zepp), Rinne (MV) and Dice you can hear more hard rock while more catchy songs are Choose me (MV), Bestie (MV) and Alone (MV). And if you want to hear some ballads then maybe About Us (MV) and Daydreaming (MV) are good picks. But don't miss some more of their instrumentals like Onset (Live). And finally a very special live performance is Manners/Blackhole (Official Online Live)🍌 And there is more: For example the songs with Miku in lead, their christmas acoustic concert and the 'cover band' Band-Maiko ;-)
But if you want to start at the beginning of their career (2013-2017) then go with Thrill (MV, their first video), Real Existence (second video), Alone (MV, first own composition), Freedom(best LIVE performance), Choose Me, Play (LIVE!), ...
👉 I have a next song for you in my mind ... Why not jump to an early song (from 2014/2015) from them with a great live performance from 2018: "Real Existence" (official live) would be a good suggestion. And as always many other songs come into mind: "From now on" (MV) for example. But as many Maidiacs would say: Pick any song from their huge portfolio: No song will disappoint! 😍
Some other band recommendations? Then try "The Sixsters" from Ukraine (Pick any song)
    Have fun... Po

Saiki is their singer and she's awesome! You have about 120 something more songs to choose from. Hard Rock, metal, punk, pop, alt or prog, many times multiple styles in one song. Pick one or two, have a few. enjoy. (It's funny you mentioned Guitar Hero. Three little girls from Mexico played with toy guitars and got good. They then got real instruments and got better. They then recorded a song for their relatives when they were about 14, 12 and 9. Ten years later we have The Warning. Check them out also.)

Great reaction. Welcome Masters from Honest Reactions. It's funny you mentioned only 5 songs they sing, it's actually the compete opposite. Majority of the their song have vocals and their lead vocalist, Saiki, is AMAZING! Their second vocalist, Miku (band founder, rhythm guitarist, backing vocal, second lead vocalist, main lyricist and 810 year old pigeon, ok this last one will make sense the deeper you dive into the Maids) is no joke either, as she used to be the lead singer, but with more of a pop style vocal. She usually has a song she sings lead on every album. Anyway, my fellow Maidiacs have made suggestions, so buckle up and enjoy the ride! PO!🕊 🤘😆🤘

Wait until you hear their vocalist, she is as awesome as the rest of this quintet. Their rhythm guitarist is their secondary vocalist and the lead guitarist pipes in occasionally as a back-up vocalist. This band doesn't show all its cards at once. Once you start down this rabbit hole Band-Maid will continue to surprise you. They have a surprisingly large and deep catalog of music; over ten years worth. They are a powerhouse live act and their concerts are as good as it gets. They write all their music specifically with live performance in mind: the music is part of the show. They don't record music that they can't do live.

Welcome to the BandMaid experience! The greatest proper rock and roll band of the 21st century. Here's some opinions and facts:
•Bass solos are more likely to happen than not. There's a bass solo on their very first video!
•Guitar solos are shorter, far shorter than you would like them to be
•Unless you are superhuman, you will not/ can not be able to pick up everything they're doing to make that song great on the first listen.
•Genre? Genres?? We don' need no stinkin" genre!
•You like a hard rocking crazy fast tune? Well how about it done as a slower acoustic version? They do that.
    •April Fools Day 2019
As a joke they recorded a redo of Secret my Lips with traditional instruments and with lyrics in a Kyoto dialect. MV is stunningly beautiful.
•The linchpin member of the band gets the least notice/praise. The Mighty Miku Kobato founder/lead singer steps back to make way for a new more hard rock vocalist. They want her to hold a guitar so she does and learns to play on the fly, performing all the while she's learning. So the person who willed the band into existence, who is the primary lyricist, the only member who sings and plays an instrument most of the time gets the least comments from reactors. Oh yeah she has her own signature model guitar from Zematis (after playing less than 10 yrs)
•There is no "I" in BANDMAID. Well ok there is one "I" but my point is the songs are written by BandMaid. Not just Kanami Tono. The highly innovative bass and drum lines are created by Akane and MISA. There are no George songs and John&Paul songs. There are only BandMaid songs.
•10 plus years with the same line up. Think about that.
•More hooks, riffs and motifs in many songs than most bands have on an album. Check it out. No hyperbole.
•Use of puns, wordplay using homophones between Japanese and English are not the exception. They are typical of Kobato's lyrics.
•Despite the fact that their LIVE videos are superior to the official studio MV"s the latter are excellent. Funny, graphic, innovative and stunningly beautiful works of art describe what you get with BandMaid's official MV's.
•As close to the Beatles in terms of unique persona of the members as any group since the Monkees. MISA is quiet and drinks. Akane is happy and eats, Miku is klutzy and CUTE, Kanami is an airhead who crushes on Saiki and Saiki was the Ice Queen. But the Ice Queen has thoroughly thawed. See Yokohama's Endless Story! Their image is carefully crafted or spontaneous or both.
•Many songs have catch phrases or singalong sections to engage the audience. Many songs are in English and Japanese. Most songs are full of joy as well.
•They're having a ball. They enjoy performing. They enjoy the fans. They enjoy each other.
•Make no mistake, this is not a regular band.

This was only 4/5 of BAND-MAID. Less than that, actually, because founder and rhythm guitarist KOBATO MIKU is one-half of the twin vocal attack. Go back to 14 February 2020, and watch them perform DOMINATION, just days before the world would change.

Welcome, HonReas. You are embarking on (along with many others - over 200 million YT views plus over 40 million reactor plays!) an awesome, progressive, hard-rock journey with 5 incredible women. Here's my intro blurb for those who may be new to Band-Maid:

BAND-MAID’s songs and sound beat with the heart and soul of all rockers. But you’ll also hear heavy influences of Prog, Punk, Metal and Pop, with nice touches of Blues, Jazz, Funk and Grunge. Sometimes they use multiple genres within the same song. Their Composition, Execution, Joy of Playing, Consistency (130+ songs), Uniqueness, Charisma, Charm and, oh yeah, Cuteness factor, position them as becoming the hard rock Beatles of our time! In other words, they’re destined for mega-stardom.
Each member's personalities are super interesting and their musicianship among the best. Their writing, arrangements and overall sound, especially guitar tones and drums, are kick-ass! Having seen them LIVE, I can honestly say their performance, sound, stage appearance, and band synergy is off-the-rails spectacular!
Band-Maid is the only band in decades where I love nearly EVERY song they’ve done. I have over 70 favorites! "Thrill" (2014) is a great place to start: czcams.com/video/Uds7g3M-4lQ/video.html Their songs from albums Unleash, Unseen World, Conqueror, World Domination, Just Bring It, Brand New Maid, and New Beginning drive even more - Hate?, Shambles, Influencer, Warning, No God, Different, Black Hole, Rinne, Blooming, Moratorium, Domination, Clang, Dice, Spirit, Don’t You Tell Me, Turn Me On, Fate, Play, Hide-And-Seek, Secret My Lips, Puzzle, Choose Me, I Can’t Live Without You, and on and on.
But don’t miss out on their powerful, beautifully written, mid-tempo songs like Daydreaming, Bestie, About Us, Memorable, Anemone, Endless Story, PAGE, At The Drop Of A Hat, Mirage and Smile... or more punky like After Life, Don’t Let Me Down and Screaming… or funky like Bubble… or bluesy like Manners and The Dragon Cries… or poppy like Start Over… or a bit jazzy like Wonderland… or progressive like No God, Giovanni, and Black Hole… or cultural like the Band-Maiko series… or instrumentals like From Now On, Don’t Be Long, Onset, Without Holding Back and Going Nuts… or their many acoustic versions like Catharsis and Sayonakidori... and last but not least, their Anime hits (AniMaid) like Sense, Glory and Unleash!!!!! (from their own Anime MV (series?)): czcams.com/video/7LB_EPS48HE/video.html)
And many songs are represented with over 50 well produced music videos. czcams.com/users/BANDMAID
Most performances should be experienced from their LIVE audience & online OKYUJI concerts:
 2023 Yokohama 10th Year Anniversary Concert “Endless Story” czcams.com/video/Za1y-RRVd70/video.html
     ONLINE OKYU-JI (Feb. 11, 2021) “No God” czcams.com/video/nAdWnIRjGak/video.html
     Tokyo's LINE CUBE SHIBUYA (February 14, 2020) “Domination” czcams.com/video/QbyQCJn6rYg/video.html
     ZEPP 2018 “Real Existence” czcams.com/video/-qQnKILR5u0/video.html
 Shinkiba Studio Coast 2017 and other full concerts are on bandmaidprime.tokyo, bili, and official Band-Maid’s DVD/BD/CD.
And some of the better quality fan videos are excellent. Here’s two of what it’s like to see Band-Maid LIVE at an intimate venue:
 Shot by Pat McKee from their 2023 US tour concert in Detroit: czcams.com/video/DgxU-MVjta0/video.html
     See the Maids 2023 Rockville Festival’s short-set perfection performance: czcams.com/video/vjZkNeoGmhc/video.html
If you like Band-Maid, make sure to support them by purchasing some concert tickets, live streams, CD, DVD/BD & merch, etc. bandmaid.tokyo
Like most Band-Maid songs, I like them from the get-go but really start to appreciate them after more hearings and seeing their LIVE videos. I'll go back and see an older song like YOLO, Order, Shake That, Freezer, Don’t Let Me Down, Before Yesterday, Real Existence, Non Fiction Days and Alone, etc. and realize there's no band that can consistently construct and play like Band-Maid.

    Band-Maid Members:
Saiki Atsumi (Sy-i-Key or Psyche) “StarQueen" - Lead vocals, arrangements and melodies. At 30 and the youngest, “Sensei” (Teacher) as band members call her, has the last word on many musical decisions. High-heels or sneakers, Sai-chan’s smile melts away her sometimes perceived, coldish persona. Saiki’s powerhouse performances, charisma, and voice focus the experience that’s driven her to the top echelon of hard rock frontwomen... or frontmen!
Miku Kobato (Me-Ku) "Small Pigeon" - Rhythm guitar, vocals, lyricist, 32 years old. “Koba”, as Saiki calls her, is the Band founder and a firecracker MC & PR SpokesPigeon, po! Her “Magic Spell Time” charm and energy ignite the room. Kuruppo! No, no, no… KURUPPO!!
Kanami Tono (Ka-Na-Me) “Princess” - Lead guitar, keyboards, 32 years old, is a prolific writer of most Band-Maid material. Kanami (translates “Song Wave”) is a possessed riff-slayer who’s so damn adorable it hurts. The only thing you want from Mincho is more!
Akane Hirose (A-Ka-Nay) "Gorilla" - Drums, 33 years old, band energizer & co-clown with MISA. Achi’s talents include massive consumption of noodles and bananas, of course, (even during performance!) while revolutionizing rock drumming with relentless drive, dynamics and the kick. This “DrumZilla” is the Party!
MISA (Me-Sa) "Barefoot Assassin" - Bass, 31 years old. An alluring free spirit driving her 5-string to rapturous low-ends while pulling off surprising counter leads with Kanami, off-stage MISA is the band’s goofball ballerina. Sometimes seen as the Mysterious One because she lets her instrument do the talking, the Assassin literally kills it… every note... uniting Band-Maid’s world-class rhythm section. A slug of JB, a slight grin, and let the slappin’ begin… MISA! MISA! MISA!
Maidiacs (Maid-e-acts) - Band-Maid’s crazed yet supportive, knowledgeable and loyal Super Fans.
    [BAND-MAID NEWS]
 BAND-MAID PRIME - Special Video Distribution Website. Along with nearly 50 great play-through’s by each member, concerts and skits, Band-Maid management / label(s) have included the Acoustic Christmas 2021, ZEPP 2018 and Shinkiba Studio Coast 2017 concerts! Fans can now see more than 50 great live performances with awesome audio, etc. like Fate, I Can't Live Without You and the great MISA / Kanami exchange in Don't You Tell Me. Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。 As a big fan of BABYMETAL and Band-Maid, I am happy that you guys finally covered B-M.
I witnessed this song performed live four times with this MV quality in Japan and dropped my jaw four times 😲. I believe so did many of American audience in their three US tours in 2022/2023. This song has been normally played in the middle of the setlist to give Saiki, lead vocalist, some break. They played this song, however, as opening at festivals and in Guns N' Roses concert in Japan as support to the legendary band. Yeah! they showed off their skills and talents to the audience who knew nothing about the girls in maid outfit on the stage. I felt as if I heard them screaming "Hey guys! Listen to us and open your eyes wide! We are not the persons that you think ! Salute us!" 😄

Band Maid does have vocals. I would suggest Endless Story (Live) for a more rock ballad with vocals, Hate? (Live) for hard rock with vocals, Domination (Live). They shine the most in a live setting. The three songs I suggested are also all subtitled. Their most recent video "Bestie" is a collaboration with Mike Eiziger from Incubus and is a pure ballad, but I would suggest listening to the first three that I suggested more.

Good call on this being a good piece for starting a concert, since this came out, this is often their opener.
They rotate their material a ridiculous amount, however, having played something like 70 of their 130 or so songs on their last tour... including over 50 of their songs in their last two concerts alone. The first concert was a monumental 33 song 3.5 hour show, and the second was a "spinoff" where they intentionally changed all but two songs of the 21 in the set so that it would be like an addition to the first concert.

Welcome. If you ever get lost in any nation of the World, just put on a Band-Maid t-shirt or hat and local help will present itself faster than you can shout S.O.S.
Also, Kanami is a genius (must always be said) and the band is this extremely rare occasion where the sum of it is not massively "greater than its parts". Band-Maid as a whole represents how great the 5 parts are in their own capacity and from working hard collectively to become this "unit of music" that they have become. I am honestly not sure what to recommend for two young recruits. Chronologically I would say "Domination Official Live" first (to get an early taste of how awesome they were live even years ago) and then the video of "Thrill" to get into the lore.
I would then do the video for "Daydreaming" as it is a composition so awesome that every band in history listen to it with envy (it is possibly the best rock song ever written to not appear on Billboard. If Pink Floyd, Prince, U2 or Michael Jackson had written it in the 1980s, it would probably still be on the top 100 list (indicating that it checks ALL the boxes of being Prog, Pop, Rock, Big...). I will not mention anything about guitar solos occurring, but I will ask "Did you ever hear drums cry with emotional despair outside of the best drum solos ever played like the famous "gated reverb" drop of Phil Collins's "In the Air Tonight"?". You are in for 20-odd seconds of musical heaven. I can prepare you as much as I can and know: You are not prepared.
Here is the off-the-charts information you need: What happens in "Daydreaming" is not a fluke. It is not an accidental one-time wonder, it is a feature of what they do consistently.
Kanami is a F-ing genius surrounded by geniuses. To prove my point: When Kanami wrote "From Now On", I am sure the classical pianist that she is asked herself "What would Johann Sebastian Bach have composed back in the day if he knew that a quartet in the future was a drummer, two guitarists and a bassist".
I am waiting for a pair of violins, a viola and a cello to make a cover.

You have opened the floodgates. They may be the best rock group in the world today (I think they are). They are certainly the most creative band since the Beatles, and they are top-tier musicians.
I saw many of the classic rock bands - Purple, Zeppelin, Queen, Santana, many more, all in their heyday. I’ve seen Band-maid three times and their performances stand up to any of those legendary bands.
You are going to get a lot of suggestions. First, a little background on the band:
Saiki Atsumi - Lead vocals Born Feb 8, 1994
    MISA - Bass Born Oct 15, 1992
Kanami Tono - Lead guitar, Main composer and arranger Born Sept 28, 1991
Miku Kobato - Rhythm guitar, backing vocal Born Oct 21, 1991
Akane Hirose - Drums Born Dec 14, 1990
Miku was working in a Maid Café after being in an idol group that didn’t break through. She envisoned the idea of a maid-band that plays hard rock and metal. She recruited Kanami, after finding a Kanami guitar cover on line; Kanami then recruited Akane, who recruited MISA. Akane and MISA had been students together at the Tokyo Music Academy. The group decided they needed more vocal “oomph”, and collectively recruited Saiki. Miku didn't know how to play guitar when they started, so Kanami has been teaching her. She's become good so fast that she is really adding to the music mix, and Maidiacs are daring to dream of a dual shred.
The band was struggling early on, and in 2014, even as the label was considering dropping them, they posted the music video for “Thrill” which went viral globally. When they realized what was going on, it gave them the momentum to forge ahead, and they have now done multiple tours of Europe and the U.S. and are building a global fanbase who call themselves the Maidiacs.
They have released seven full albums, as well as several EPs, singles and music videos. They have put out around 170 songs, covering a wide variety of styles and sounds, without any duds. They combine a punk vibe with instrumental virtuosity (two things that are often seen as being incompatible), and have done some amazing progressive-rock songs and ballads with a metal edge to them.
They toured the U.S. in 2022 and sold out 14 cities in less than 48 hours. They followed it up with a 2023 tour which had to be expanded from their original plans. Their fan base skews heavily to actual practicing musicians. Some of those followed the band to multiple dates and documented everything on youtube-some of the footage is hilarious.
I’ve seen them in 2019, 2022 and 2023. Their shows are truly life-reaffirming. So far no announcements of another European tour but it seems likely in 2024.
Band-Maid are that rare band that sound perfect live, even better than in the studio. Everything they have posted from their 10thAnniversary concert in Yokohama is absolute fire-I have bought the DVD and recommend you do too. 33 songs, 3 hours of insanity. The best clip on YT from that concert is “Hate?” czcams.com/video/yfORoQIqB3E/video.html

Misa, tha bassist, can play fast, can slap, play finger style or whatever, but I love that she chose to do this bass solo to bring the quiet moment within this intense song. My recommendation is "Hate?" official live mv for the next. When you see this, don't forget to put a closed caption🤣!
