- Hey flockers, if there has ever been a macaw free flying video not to miss, this is it! This is a vlog of the world's largest parrot meet up to celebrate two macaw birthdays that took place on the same weekend. Rocket the macaw and Iago the greenwing macaw threw the biggest parrot party in the UK, maybe even the world!
Free flying macaws from all over the world got together to fly to celebrate not only two parrot birthdays, but to also celebrate the beauty of free flighted macaws in the UK. A huge range of macaw species gathered including blue and gold macaws, green wing macaws, harlequin macaws, a shamrock macaw, some military macaws and scarlet macaws.
All of these birds have had very intense specialised training to free fly, and free flight training should always be conducted under the supervision of a free flight training instructor. You should never take an untrained, unharnessed parrot outdoors.

Will have to double check!✅✅✅
So green wings have white beaks, and they’re a non hybrid macaw. Other macaws with white and black beaks are hybrids most of the time.

The lads in Malaysia have a huge free flight club, they have huge flying events every year, have been for years…it’s strange how it took off in the last few years in the uk,..it’s great to see..finally..30 years ago macaw in the circus where the only ff macaw I’d ever come across, we had lots of rescue macaw, almost ever town we set up in would see our birds fly, then offer us there birds, who it was my job to work with, we got some birds in sorry situations,. But most got flying in the end….

Some of us offer meet and greets, but as for attending free flying meet ups and events we tend to stick to our friendship groups, we meet up mainly because we're all good friends. If you have a free flighted bird that you would like to fly with us then you're welcome to as long as birds are healthy and disease tested
