- At least every 5,000km after break-in period
Oil Filter Change Interval:
- 1 for every 2 oil changes
Oil quantities:
- 1.80 Liters (no filter change)
- 2.10 Liters (with filter change)
Recommended Oil:
- Any trusted brand such as (Castrol, Motul, Yamalube, Liquimoly, Shell)
as long as it is Full/Synthetic with 10W-40 Viscosity
Oil Filters I recommend:
- Yamaha OEM filter
- K&N 204
- VIC C-806
Socket wrench size used:
- 12mm

Nice video! Gonna save a lot if money this way. I do have a question I am a new rider my R3 is my first bike and I was just out on a ride today and the oil light came on. It has about 650 miles on it so far I am doing the oil change this week. Only concern I have is even when I’m leaving the engine running I even took the bike to the right a little bit but I do not see any oil on the indicator at the lower part of the engine even when tilting the bike while the bike is running. Shouldn’t I see something inside the The window? Any help would be greatly appreciated
The oil change light is set to appear on the first 600 miles. Once you did your first oil change, you will have to reset the oil trip meter again and the next oil change will be every 3000miles. Please be advised that you will have to reset the oil trip meter so it will stop blinking until the next period. In regards with the oil level, it is normal that you dont see it while the bike is on its sidestand specially if the engine is running. You will have to stand the bike up vertically and wait for about a minute to see the oil level. If you dont have someone to sit on the bike while waiting for the oil to come down, jam a brick or anything that can raise the sidestand somewhere close to being upright so you can check the level without the help of anyone. You can check the manual for resetting the oil trip meter if ever you will have trouble dlresetting it. Hope this helps. Sir pede po ba yung 10w40 fully synthetic. Kaso hindi sya 7100 nakalagay is H-TEC 100 ng motul. Salamat po sa pag sagot.
Pwede pero temporary lang ( mga 1 to 2k km). I would suggest na pang morcycle na may manual transmission talaga ang gamitin mo para siguradong walang problema. May picture dapat ng motor ung oil na bibilhin mo at kung gusto mo matagal ang intervals ng oil change, synthetic dapat.
Hello po, need po ba talaga 2.1 liters na oil kapag nag change ng oil filter? Ano po disadvantage kung 2 liters lang ang ilalagay? Ty po.

Once every 2 oil changes. Malapit ang throttle body sa filter kaya mejo amoy gas talaga yan. Pero dapat hindi mo yon naamoy pag hindi baklas ang motor mo.

Ano din po pinag kaiba ng 300v sa 7100?
Same lang po ng andiyan sa vid.
Nasa description din po kung ano pa yung ibang brand na pwede niyo mabili. Lahat po yan ay pwede.
300v ay pang racing, 7100 ay pang street at long term use. 7100 po ang advise kong gamitin niyo kasi magaaksaya ka lang ng pera sa 300v
