Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad

- Back in October of 2020, we had the opportunity to ride the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad out of Antonito, Colorado. During the pandemic, passengers currently cannot ride one way over the entire railroad, but only to Osier and return to their place of boarding. In this video we capture a pair of runbys while chasing the train out of Chama, New Mexico. The next day, we ride the train out of Antonito, Colorado which features shots along the trip, including backing around the balloon track at Osier.

Currently making plans to visit this railroad along with Durango & SIlverton this summer. Nothing has been 100% planned other than happening in July I'm still hyped to be visiting both railroads since it's been my dream since I was a child.
Be careful there may be a shortage of gas in mountains this summer.

@@stephensfarms7165 I might likely only join my uncle when he heads to durango and silverton since it was my orginal plan to join my uncle to that railroad, i still want to visit cumbres and toltec since my uncle is visiting it too along with the grand csnyon railway but my parents only agreed I'd join him to D&S not to mention i have no clue how long my visit to either railroad will be since nothing has been finalized atm other than the trip might be in july and that my uncle is paying for my ticket to ride behind the train we'll be riding which will be Southern Pacific 18 since my uncle wants to see it as much as I do. But I'm hoping if all goes well i can visit D&S this summef, maybe even C&T but might wakt kn ut for now but still will plan on visiting in the future since both tourkst lines are one of several I've been wanting to visit for years.
