Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad | K-36 484 to Osier

The Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad's K-36 #484 tackles the Cumbres Pass grade as it powers the Chama train bound for Osier, and ultimately Antonino. In Osier, the 484 will swap passenger trains with K-27 #463, and bring the train back to Chama.

I remember riding this in the summer, with my family (thanks Dad), when I was young (in the 70's). The whistle sounds deep in my ❤️. We blew our noses at the end of the day and were astounded and amused! Black snot! I still have a commemorative belt buckle I proudly wear. Beautiful video.

Excellent video. Bravo. Great locomotive sound. And no annoying music, a rarity these days. I had the pleasure of following this train by car along the road several years ago. Thanks for posting.
