- IGN sat down with Jonah Senzel (Inscryption, Pony Island, The Hex) and Peter McConnell (Psychonauts, Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge, Sly Cooper) to talk about how they got started in the gaming industry and tips and tools you'll need to get a job as a composer and sound designer in video games.

The kind of content I've been looking for. Love it! The Psychonauts soundtrack absolutely bangs and it's great to hear from the people who do these things how to develop our own skills and enter the game.
Thanks so much for putting up content like this, game composing has always been a dream of mine so this was incredibly inspiring! :)
This video is more of a "who videogame composers are and what they do", and not "how to find a job".
So one guy offered his music for free online and built a portfolio. The other guy got lucky with friends and worked on an audio department in a game studio. That's all you need to know either get hired at a studio in the audio department or start small and grow your experience until you come across a chance
Great video. Awesome advice. Why is it so hard for composers to land a gig?
Love this type of video. being involved in videogame sound is my dream job
Okay, but why does Jonah's skin looks more beautiful than an Utopia 🤔 Also, keep up with this kind of content, it doesn't have a huge audience, but it is extremely insightful for both veterans and newcomers into the game industry ❤️
Alr boys, lets get our music published
The dude that made Monkey's Island score is a true veteran in the field and a cool dude
Looks great
It's luck.
😅😆🤣

Nice piece of content! 🔥 although The Young fellow really has no idea what he is talking about.
No concrete advice
