Are the ESPN FC pundits still going to claim that Newcastle are better than Dortmund? These pundits have mocked Dortmund ever since the group stage despite them finishing first in the “Group of Death” and never let up. Yet another side that these pundits have openly mocked and been completely wrong about.

It seems someone in ESPN took your wife or gf, my God! Go on every page to type some banter and painful 😖 comment! Grow up man, Newcastle where in the anscendancy and BVB where not, a week in football could easily be a year, so they said what they said at the time will you leave it alone or will you moan and cry about everything they say or do not say for the rest of your life? Grow up !

Ya let's cool the jets lol I'm not a fan of either team but pretty much Newcastle's full starting 11 was injured for both the Dortmund games in the group stage. Also Dortmund have played two of the worst teams in the knockout stage, credit to them for taking their chances but we'll see how they do against PSG.

Why BVB is fifth in the Bundesliga? This year, the Bundesliga is very strong. Remember that Real Madrid needed the help from the referees to eliminate Leipzig. A quarterfinal with BVB, Bayer and Leipzig would have been possible. And Stuttgart is not in the International competition. Leverkusen is in the Euroleague. So it is no surprise that the fifth BundesTeam is in the Semifinal.

This is gonna be long so sorry in advanced.
As an Atleti fan watching them is frustrating and I mean really frustrating. What happened to Inter exactly happened to Atleti and that's if you waste your chances and don't score it will get you. In the first leg I told my dad that Atleti should finish the tie in Wanda but they missed a lot of chances. Then Simeone tried to cool the game down and finish the game with 2 goals which gave BVB the chance to score and by the end of the match Atleti was lucky the tie wasn't equal. Coming to this game we all knew it would be a hard game which was shown by BVB in the first half. I was telling pops that BVB's defence has errors and Atleti should use them which happened with Hummels own goal (but to be fair it wasn't really his fault but still). I wasn't too happy because the tie was even but after Correa scored... Man I was punching the air! (threw some kicks too 😁). I was happy and excited but still cautious and afarid because of what BVB was capable of and telling pops that Atleti should score more but what happened? The exact opposite. BVB played better and finished the job something Atleti couldn't do. Simeone knows that they can't keep clean sheets anymore so he should've thought of something. I mean of course he did (that's why he's a coach and I'm not, that's why he's being payed millions and I'm not) but it wasn't enough. BVB played great but the defense was shambles. Yes there were a couple of good saves and clearances but the fact that BVB cut through the defense so easily tells you what you have to know. The first to goals where scored in a matter of 5 minutes and the 3rd and 4th in 3 minutes just shows how good BVB was and bad Atleti were. And let's not even talk about Morata and Correa's sweet chances especially Alvarito's. I hope he's punching himself for not scoring that chance.
Even if Atleti went to the next round I didn't see them winning against PSG or Barca. As much as I love them to when cups especially the UCL, I don't see them winning anything unless they change a lot of things starting with consistency which they don't have. Congrats to BVB and the fans for advancing 👏.
At the end if you don't wanna get stung by a bee you better kill it when you have the chance because of you don't it will stung you and it will stung you bad 🐝

For consistency and continuity more money would be required. Especially with Dortmund one can see that they are excellent in developing young players, but later on those players get bought by PL and La Liga teams (e.g. Haland, Bellingham, Dembelée, Lewandowski,……). Quite a few of world class players have been with Dortmund previously.

yeah, it's because when their players perform well then they would get a lot of media attention and bigger club would start offering them better wages, which Dortmund is unable to watch. In the end, Dortmund would decide to cash in when they can not match the wages the bigger clubs pay the players.
Then Dortmund will use that money and buy younger players and develop them. Then, again, the same cycle will repeat itself.
