- It just so happens that I had to travel to Bristol for work, and with the bank holiday pending, it just wouldn't have been right for me to turn down a chance to venture to Chesil.
Ade and I have been in touch for a while now. In fact, we both fished the euros but never got a chance to meet up. So when I knew I'd be on his turf we set a time and place to meet. and the rest as they say,is history.
Fishing this time using the Any Fish Any Where GB FS Pro rods, Penn Spinfisher 5500lc and 7500lc, Berkley Whiplash braid. Rigs produced by Mike's Rigs in Hull. And bait provided by reel fun in Portishead Bristol. - Zábava
Nice video biscuits looked good pity about the fishing but always great to watch. Thanks as always.

The only thing I can say in the words of the great prophet D:Ream- "things can only get better." Looks like an amazing place to fish or as some might say one of the best places in the country but not on that day lol. A few years back I had some ragworm in the spare fridge in the garage but the fridge broke and you should have smelt them. I've never smelt anything like it, 50 times worse smelling than dead lugworm and my Mrs socks. Best of luck on your next session buddy.
I may well be about to find out. Almost certain I had a spare wrap of rag, which I've left in the back of the van, and I'm currently in tunisia for a week. Do I need to start shopping for a new van do you think? 😅
It's going to be real bad so you will need a mask. As you are in Tunisia there's one excursion that takes you out to the desert who they filmed Star Wars. Where Luke was growing and where the Sand People lived. When I went there it was a camel ride, have a great time and all the best to your Mrs and little Jack, oh and it's raining here.

Eh up Alex, just back from my second blanking trip of the year to Filey . On Saturday morning there were hundreds of dead crabs washed up at the south landing area and on Sunday numerous jellyfish , I think the water is acting strange this year, I didn`t face the Brigg this time , fished off the wall , that`s 5 blanks in a row up the east coast since the end of June , starting to get a little discouraged but having seen how your doing recently I know I`m in good company 😃 going to Windermere at the end of the month with a bloody trawl net 🤣
Keep it up Neil. The fish are out there, its been a strange summer this year, very hard going! I need to plan the next trip down to the last detail and make sure there's fish to show folk

Hello. I went on tuesday at Abbotsbury, same conditions, same result. Not a single bite. Bait came back untouched. And didn't see anyone catch anything, but thats fishing.
It's been a strange season this year that's for sure. I've heard the rumours about chesil, it's all or nothing, and I can say those rumours are true haha

Fished it years ago , massive smell from the car park, found my spot , huge dead whale on the beach, an hour later comes a JCB and buried it right right there
I bet that was an experience mate. The ones that wash up on the holderness usually get dealt with by bomb disposal...umbrellas at the ready

On the matter of colour, we have so much mud, clay and sand on the east coast, you're right we see that and would think the worst.
On the subject of doggies, I've not had one all year either and at one point we'd have been plagued all summer, just like whiting from Autumn to spring.
Llyn peninsular next week for a week for me. See if I cant winkle out a huss, conger or if I can get the spin rod set-up in time a bass or pollock from the rocks.
Any hints/tips???
I'd be on the deep rock marks with feathers looking for some fresh mackerel mate. Then bug heavy pennel rigs with 150lb hook lengths in case there are tope knocking about to get hold of your fresh fillets. I'm not jealous at all 😅😫

I packed up early on a beach last night, it was made unfishable by dogfish, even tried super short range and they were on it straight away 😭
I've finally found the dogs, you lot have been hiding them 😅
Now then buddy had a trip on boat outta Grimsby in Humber estuary today, pretty dead all in all managed a doggy half decent smoothie n a flounder , beautiful day tho, big up on content bud n tight lines

Eazy alex you ok pal, ive watched ady's chanel for sometime. Ive never fished there but it seens you blank or bag up there . Same happened to me about 9 month bk when i fucked a lb of lug up coz of my own fault. As a northerner i did same n put in my b8 m8 as couldnt throw 20 quid of bait away. All the best from G.Y.

Careful of which car parks charge and what times they charge. No camping on the beach, and areas around the bird sanctuary are closed off at certain times of the year. I think that about covers all the restrictions in place specific to chesil. Then you have the usual size limits for keeping fish too.

Fished low water perch rock on the mighty mersey sunday am 5am 2 nice dogs and thornys to 10lb get your awful coffee cookie arse down and have a go.sunrise is best

It's a self built sprinter and currently it's only half built as we are part way through our 4th layout. This time we have decided to get rid of the shower cubical and replace the with extra kitchen units and built a bunk over our bed for Jack to sleep in.

The way this summers fishing for me I couldn't shoot a fish in a barrel. Hopefully that means I'm in for a good winter though 🤞🏼
