Something you didn't give yourself credit for, is that you are a good speaker. You don't use filler words, your speaking speed is just right, it's good clear English, and of course, you're genuine. Congratulations and all the best for the future👍

The number of middle aged audience members on CZcams is growing, I hear. 😉 So, no reason why anyone should not want to see you. (Hadn't even realised that the younger demographic was so prevalent until a few years ago because I've used CZcams for ages. 😂)

We've now entered an era in which we have to question everything we see - Is that 'photo' actually AI? - Is that 'reality' show actually scripted? - I truly appreciate how authentic you are Jen - a real person talking about real things. I'm a fan.
I think AI has a place, for me I use it for pictures and voice overs. I was in a bad accident and can't speak very well. I fell into stoicism after a dear friend got cancer. CZcams is my outlet and has helped some along the way. 🧡😑

It was very interesting listening to your story about the week you had one sub and could have easily given up then, but soon after you 'figured' out a bit of CZcams puzzle out and immediately started seeing success with that big upswing in the graph. So many creators reach the point just before that upswing and believe CZcams is not for them and give up.
And yep, couldn't agree more about skills and resources not being important to begin with. You can learn skills and acquire gear overtime. Mindset is the most important thing a creator needs to have.

I'm 67 I started my channel in 2019. But I stopped for 2 years because of a death in the family. But my channel kept growing.
So in March of 24 I started again. I need 121 more subscribers to get monetized. So I was real happy to find your channel. I love to see how others achieve their goals. Its been a struggle for me.

I’m going to subscribe, I haven’t even seen your niche but I’m intrigued because I can relate and I like that you are moving forward. I lost my mom at age 23 and I lost my brother when I was 26, he was only 30 years old. I miss them everyday and think about them everyday. Time is the only thing that really helped with me. Along with nice people, Caring people that took time out of their day to help me and make me try to have a better day in the most tough times. I want to start putting videos about my journey, what I’ve learned and who I’ve learned from. Try to relay that you can always learn from anyone at any age, that maybe we can have a different perspective if we listen and learn, share some of my life and maybe change at least 1 persons views on life.

Great story, and I am happy to see you are satisfied. Being a CZcamsr is very similar to running your own business. You should upload things people want to see, just like businessman should offer product/service that people need. And when the growth becomes real, you can consider hiring people to help you run your channel more efficiently. The most difficult part is starting and growing of course, but consistency and hard work (with a little bit of help from Fame - ster of course) will always pay off at the end.

You could talk about hair care in your 50ies and beyond. Because my hair texture changed with meno pause, the horrifying hair loss that came with thyroid problems, etc etc - it has changed the way I look, how my face looks and my overall appearance. I'm at the point where I am seriously considering wearing a wig. There must be hundreds of thousands of women out there with the same/similar problems, needing suggestions and help. You could be that person!
Happy belated birthday! I recently became allergic to 3 different chemicals in nail supplies at the salon this month and I'm not sure what to do moving forward. I got contact dermatitis and I'm allergic to gel polish, hard gel, and acrylic. Thinking of starting a CZcams channel using natural nail lacquer instead of gel for my videos. Would you guys watch? What would you want me to show?

I am a recently widowed woman who is now living my best life. The money is mine, the home is mine, and the bills.....well, they're mine. I am lucky. My finances are more or less stable and in about 3 years my mortgage will be paid off!!

I'm 74 and my channel is four years old. It was bumbling along until one particular video, at the start of this June, hit the mark. Over the next week or two my subs rocketed from 400+ to 1000+ and over the next few weeks went up to more that 4000. My lifetime views also took off, reaching 300,000 this month. I'm waiting for my first payment. It's not huge but if I can keep the channel going, I think it will grow more income. I'm going to subscribe so I can follow your journey. Good luck.

One thing I think will help the algorithms is to interact with each comment (a like or comment). Encourage interaction between subscribers, as well. Just found your channel. I’ve been considering doing something similar, although don’t know that I have a single niche that anyone would be interested in.
Because I support small channels, I will help you, by start rewatching a playlist when I go to bed & let it play while I sleep. I can’t stand watching ads, but I don’t mind letting them run while I snore 😂.

@@SonetLandman, It could be your niche if you are struggling and thinking it seems hopeless to get monetized. I had a CZcams channel for years, and it never went anywhere. It was depressing because I posted videos at least three times a week. Later, I posted every day, and I had about 20 subscribers. On May 12, 2024, I had about 20 subscribers. That day, I had a little over a half hour of watch time and 51 views. That was pretty normal for me, even though I had about 150 videos on my channel. Then, I watched a video about making videos in the kid's niche. The lady said you would get significantly more views and subscribers. I had one kid's video posted already, but I did not have it set as made for children. The video had 4 views. So I switched it to made for children, and it went crazy. I made that little video myself on May 19, 2024, and I think it's pretty lame, but so far, it has 5,339 views! However, I have one video that currently has 15,075 views! I posted a video yesterday, and it already has 8,127 views! That one video also got me 46 subscribers yesterday and 42.8 hours of watch time. I have only been in this niche for about 2 weeks. I had about 20 subscribers when I started this niche, and I currently have 725 subscribers! So, I gained about 700 subscribers in two weeks!
I never could have imagined that this could happen. Sometimes, I feel like I am in a dream and will wake up and have 20 subscribers again. Awesome video. I am small CZcamsr, and I think that for small channels the most important thing is to get good presence from the beginning. If you are not popular, people won't care even if you have the best videos and the best content on platform. I am not beginner anymore, but I know how hard it can be (and honestly if I didn't use a lot of Fame- ster, I would have quit a long time ago. It made everything much easier for me, especially getting to 1000 subs and view hours).

I love this video thanks for posting! I am 49 years old, I’m a fashion designer and artist and I’ve being wanting to do a CZcams channel for years, what was stopping me is the video editing, I’m January 2023 I also got let go from my main client and now I do whatever shitty work I can do as a designer because companies don’t want to pay my rate and maybe get paid half of I used to make because there are so many newcomers that would do it for 10% my rate, that has causes a lot of stress in my life together with debts, have a mortgage to pay, hate my career and that has caused a lot of anxiety and depression.

Congrats on your success! Have you thought about adding a "signature" closing phrase, one that you repeat every time you end a video? Most CZcamsrs do this, and it somehow makes the channel seem more friendly and intimate. It doesn't have to be clever, just something like "thanks for watching and I'll see you soon."
