The idea of using a x5 Ist'd Rune Master offhand for Cannot Be Frozen is so gangster. I always saw it as a cool-but-useless item, now I finally have an excuse use it in a build.
Way back, I found an E 5 os, I zoded it and put 4x 40/15 cuz they were all duped and cheap. Put it on my zealer. Insane. This was way before grief n all the runewords.
try using one with 2x15/40s, zod ohm Lo ;)

Why do you max blade masterie instead of last synergy ? Howl and battle orders give you more damage and are more useful than 1-2% crit and a little extra attack rating.
I might have to change my Barbarian over to this Berserk build. I spec'ed him with Warcry and the damage output just isn't there. Always running out of mana too. The Runemaster is a good idea. I'd prefer to use a Goldwrap for the belt slot. Good choice not using a Fortitude on your merc since the Chilling Armor effect of the runeword has a tendency of freezing and ice cubing the mobs. Can't hork if the corpse explodes into ice cubes!
I actually have a 5os rune master. Gonna save all the ists I find from now on to try it. This is actually a good idea. Thx Phil
I run a frenzy item find Barb for trav. I have nearly 2 of each class lvl 90. So my Barb just stays geared for item find/demon slaying. It’s a fun 2 minute thing to do when life gets busy
i go cham in the shako so i can have goldwrap, gotta love it can maximize on that gold find

I Cham the Shako - arachs, hotos on swap with Grief/6istPB. I'll hork with the hotos often but I much prefer max MF as the true GG gear is in the blues and rares.

Whats a decent build to run trough normal - hell as a solo barb? Ive just heard its a horrible experience lol
Solo, most people will spec into singer barb as soon as possible. It's still hard, but you get a small aoe at least. I heard throw was ok too but can not personally confirm. Also tip, don't feel bad about running passed anything you don't want to fight.

700% MF is only 1.7x unique drops.
isn't 700 magic find kind of too much for actually finding good stuff? I always thought that the sweet spot is +-250% mf.
Not necessarily, there's no such thing as too much unless it's impeding your kill speed, it all helps. As Phil said at the top of the video, his gear is more than good enough to farm weak areas on P1.
I would argue anything over 200 mf is unnoticeable. Unless you are looking at hundreds or thousands of runs.
I would say 300 is the sweet spot

@@briancurrie2897 I consider 200% MF to be uncomfortably low for farming areas like the Chaos or Baal. The difference between 200% and 300% magic find is a 25% increase in the drop rate of Unique items, going from +111% to +136%. The drop rate for Set items increases by 45%. If you aren't noticing that change in "a hundred or a thousand runs", you may just be very unlucky. If you have Enigma + Gheeds + War Travs, + Topaz'd Shako + a dozen 7% MF small charms, you're working with 348% MF, not factoring any other gear. The difference between 200% MF and 400% is a 42% increase in the drop rate for Unique items.
@@SawyerSGN I bet if I geared you a character you couldn’t tell the difference between 200-300 magic find. The only way you can tell is by gear not outcome some people are lucky enough that they don’t feel like they need 300 or 800 mf
@@briancurrie2897 It really just sounds like you're diminishing people who build for high MF just because you don't want to think very hard about that aspect of D2. More power to you dude, play it how you want to. Just stop insisting that nobody can perceive the 22.5% increase in unique drops. It's so weirdly presumptuous.
When you're dealing with probabilities as high as 22.5%, it becomes so unlikely that you WON'T see a result, even over a relatively small sample size. If you get a consistent average of 4 unique items per run at 200% MF, then switch to 300% MF, by run #12, there's only a 4% chance you wouldn't have gotten at least one extra unique item, and the most likely outcome is that you would have gotten an extra 2 or 3. Map that onto 100 runs, which can be done in an hour, and you're looking at 25-30 extra unique items in an hour. At 22.5%, the results will converge on a true average very quickly. The result of a single iteration is inconsequential. You will, over a very short amount of time, start to reap the rewards of your added MF, whether you are consciously aware of it or not, the equations don't care.
