All versions of d2r need to phone home once every 30 or so days. Otherwise you are fully blocked for any play, including offline. Not many know this. Sneaky DRM that only serves to mess up future game preservation.

How easy are they to play? WTF! This is D2, it is easy. Fist of the heavens paladin is a bit harder? Seriously, how retarted does one have to be? Better Paladins can do very well with that paladin? Better at what exactly? A monkey can play that paladin no issue. If you like easy, just dont play diablo or any game at all, look at the wall. That should be easy enough for you. And as far as i understand you play pve single player and not a hardcore charackter. I would hate to be you, but i guess it is nice to like boring things, since you would be happy with anything. Summoner wants an Arm to summon and a Beast for fanat, along with Marrowalks. Bone Spear wants a White with +3 BS and doesn't benefit from Amp Dmg because BS does Magic damage. Also, these aren't the "top 3," they're the *only* 3!

I always use the cube recipes, blood gloves and rings, and have just crafted some nice caster boots and caster belt while I still search for Arachnids.

in LOD on plugy I hoard a view pages and craft when the dedicated pages fill up. never crafted a 2/20. On d2r without plugy I don't think I would bother and only use the recipe if I need the mana, knockback or crushing blow from the gloves with at least some res or something workable and useful. On a Barb ~87 found a 24FHR jewellers gothic plate in act4 nightmare Halbu vendor. For that armor picked up every gem and in stony field gem-shrined them all up to re-roll jewels to make something out of that rare find. Sadly lost the safefile many years back. But this reminds me to make a jewel only run in whites and magical socketed items only. But in general I sink unused perfect gems on re-rolling charms.

Your problem is that you gotta consider gloves ilvl , jewel ilvl and you clvl so get at least lvl 85 gloves and jewel and be at least yourself 85 to get the max potential of crafting ! If some one traded you low lvl jewel it reduce the ilvl of the crafted item ! I dont know exaclty what ilvl the glove must have ao you can get the affix +skill ans attack speed Btw yes you should keep mats in single player for casters ammy and blood gloves at least Sone crafted ammy can be so godly and way better than even mara

I think that most D2R players are playing D2 Remodded. You should check that out, It is Diablo 2 with everything that players ever wanted like tons of stash space, larger cube, and new skills for new builds to create. There is also constant patches to keep the game updated with new content. Phil, it is time to jump ship. You will love the update to this game!

Its funny cause you cant find any pair with 2/20 and i have found them pretty often but still too bad to even think about selling them xD

im pretty sure your character level has a Big role in crafting. You need to be I think level 95 to get A certain chance of rolls. I THINK. you might have been level 99 for all I know..

I don't find any of the cube crafting or re-rolling to be worth it. I still make caster amulets, blood gloves, reroll diadems, and reroll grand charms just because I think it's fun.

You should perhaps craft knockback gloves instead. Crushing blow isn't really necessary for a javazon, but knockback could be interesting if nothing else. Then again, the other mods that come with blood gloves are useful while everything but the knockback on hitpower gloves is useless. And you may end up crafting something nice for another class in the proccess if you go with blood gloves.
