- Since I haven't been able to consistently been able to stay up to date with the latest happenings in Sim Racing due to moving, I haven't had the opportunity to test out Automobilista 2's latest content in depth. One of the latest launches is the GT3 content, which looks to be quite exciting, so let's take a look!

Your problem in AMS2 is not the vague handling at all, but the difference between a locking an an open differential car. GT3 and GTE in rF2 have a far too loose differential tension causing this spins in many circumstances like in the draft. With a more locking differential you get turn in understeer and throttle oversteer on exit similar to karts, Stockcars or Super V8, which is far more controllable if you learn it. In ACC and rF2 the diff is far too loose and it helps on turn-in or oversteers, but you get understeer on exit. I don't know what's right in a GT3, but in a BMW Touring car you would choose a locking, not an open differential because it's far more stable, more predictable and usually also faster. Just watch onboards particularly the entry of a corner. For me they have far more AMS2-character than rF2.
@Andrei C AMS2 has the best FFB out of the box for me, so I don't need custom files since I don't need to fix it.
@Andrei C I bet it's a plus that you can choose between custom and default... If you don't like the default you can tune it with a custom. Why forcing on everyone else your taste, right? This way everyone can get what they like
@Andrei C thought you meant they should replace the current default. For sure the more options to a certain extent the more chances to meet the taste of users
It’s amazing sometimes how some youtubers are all of sudden track and car experts and know exactly how it should feel 😂
Just enjoy the game you play guys.
Not sure what FFB settings you have, but generally I feel like less is more on my Fanatec DD1. I have very low FX and no LFB and little to no damping in game depending on car. One thing is also removing damping from wheel base and having it only in game. With less effects the wheel is much more informative for me. Also differentials are usually still very much locked in the baseline setup especially on the Macca and the Porsche. So to lose the car up you need to unlock them a bit.
It's kinda weird to criticize how a game doesn't feel like this other title. Unless you have personal experience of a certain car and/or track, you're just guessing how it should feel. Besides, it's all about having fun and AMS2 is probably the most FUN single player sim at the moment. And btw, racing cars with heavy aero don't spin gradually. If you lose your backend mid-corner, it's a spin. There's no saving that.
are they gratis or with a dlc?
