  • We planted Proven Winners Supertunia Mini Vista Indigo and Lobelia Magadi White along our sidewalk. We purchased the Supertunia from Walmart and Lowes in order to have enough plants for the project. The Lobelia also came from Walmart. Supertunia mini Vista Indigo will get varying flower shades of deep purple fading to light lavender, giving the plant a interesting multi colored look that will be just the answer for your garden.

I love flowers and all their beauty. Since I'm not allowed to grow them or have them I can enjoy them by watching you. Just subscribed . Came from Ernie Hatmakers channel.

Ernie Hatmaker pointed me over. I'm in NC also. I'm on the NC/SC line about 30 minutes west of South of the Border.

Beautiful! I enjoy your videos and get lots of ideas for my own garden from them. What is the pinkish purple plant that has spikes of flowers on the other side of the fence? I would love to grow it. Thank you 😊

That’s most likely the perennial salvia you’re asking about. The variety is Blue Marvel and there is another one growing with it that is more fuchsia that self seeded from the Blue Marvel. If you’re interested is a larger salvia that performs well, look at Salvia “Big Blue” which is typically available in seed form only. It’s generally considered an annual but it comes back for me in zone 8.

Very lovely garden! Where did you get the metal border fencing in the background of the bed?
